Keeley Hazell 2009 Calendar

Hello people. Right i'll cut straight to it! I have a Spanish mate (Toni) who happens to be an Atletico fan - he's a die-hard fan in fact and is the Vice President of the Atletico Madrid UK Supporters Club. He lives in London now and will be coming up to Anfield on the 4th November for the match. I was speaking to him earlier about the game and meeting up etc and we came up with a bit of a plan. Their fan club hasn't yet been 'founded' and Toni has an agreement with the President of the club to officially cement the supporters club on the 4th November in Liverpool. The original plan was to meet in a pub where the club would present him with a plaque to celebrate etc but Toni was wanting to celebrate it a bit differently, so... We are proposing a game between a TLW XI and a group of Spanish and German Atletico fans to be staged on the day of the game. The press would be involved to cover it (Toni was in AS recently...) and club officials would be there afterwards to present the plaque etc. So basically what i'm doing is tentatively enquiring to see if: a) people are up for it b) people can actually make it (seeing as you would need the day off work etc) c) meeting/kick off times I think it would fantastic myself but only if people were committed to attending and making the most out of it. With the links between the clubs (Torres, Garcia etc) it would be a great opportunity to cement a relationship between the fans, I think. If we are able to get a team together then obviously there would be other arrangements needed, such as the pitch, kit, referee etc and I would be more than happy to oblige with all of that so long as we can commit to the day etc. Anyway, Toni is doing the same on their website to see if we can make this happen so just let me know what you all think and we'll go from there.
