I've started playing a game in work with the lads in work called Diplomacy: Play Diplomacy Online ::: web version of the classic Diplomacy board game There is a board game of it but it is effectively a browser based version of Risk. A game needs 7 players to start, and you get assigned a different empire, these being: England Germany France Russia Turkey Austria Italy The whole concept of the game is to form alliances with some, against others, before stabbing each other in the back, that is the whole point. First to 18 cities ("supply points") wins. In my game at work, Russia have gone and so have Germany. France is looking likely to win and England are about to take all of Russia, including an invasion on my (Turkey) turf. It's free to play and browser based. Would anyone be interested in getting a game going after Christmas?
