Hi Liverpool supporters, I’m writing from Montevideo, Uruguay to tell you my point of view about how Luis Suárez issue is seen from here. The “República Oriental del Uruguay” is a small country that has 187.000 km2 of surface and it is situated between the “República Argentina” to the west, and the “República Federativa del Brasil” to the northeast. It has 450km of coastline upon the “Río de la Plata”, the widest river in the world and in the Atlantic Ocean. The city of Montevideo, its capital, has 1.500.000 inhabitants out of 3.000.000 that make all the inhabitants of Uruguay, and it is the principal port of the “Cono Sur” region. The 99% of the Uruguay population comes from the immigrations masses of European origin. This gives Uruguay a main characteristic that distinguish itself from the rest of the countries of Latin America because of the absence of native inhabitants. The black race represents the minority of its population. Nevertheless this has always been, it is and will be respected and treated as all the rest of the population. The public school of Uruguay is for free and mandatory and teaches their students culture freedom, equality between men and that there is no other difference between them apart from which is born from its capacity and its effort. Black people and white people sit down in these public schools down to playing field. Uruguay is also a 100% digitalized country with a special characteristic: nowadays, every boys and girls (no exclusions) have personal computers and can manage with them perfectly. Moreover, Uruguay is a country with a 100% of treated water that reaches all corners of the country as well as electricity. The literacy rate of Uruguay exceeds the 99% and it is one of the highest all over the world. It is a high-level culture country that involves all its population. That culture has allowed the “Selección uruguaya de Fútbol”, (Uruguayan Football Team), to be one of the teams which posses more titles accumulated, both young and old levels by having been Olympic Champion twice, World Champion twice too, and “Copa América” Champion (the oldest Cup in the world) fifteen times exceeding Argentina as well as Brazil. The football player Luis Suárez was brought up in the football team “Club Nacional de Fútbol”, (C. N. de F., and that is why I am called like that) from the lower. Such club was founded on 14th, May in 1899 and is the dean of the Uruguayan Football and is also one of the most antiques of the world. Is the club which has most International Official Titles accumulated in the world by counting with 21 International Cups won, by having been American Champion on three occasions and World Champion on three occasions too. As a Club Nacional de Football supporter, club in which Luis Suárez and Sebastián Coates were born we’re really disappointed about all this issue in which Suárez is involved. Not only because of the broken-codes attitude of Evra (this is absolutely out of discussion), but also because of the lack of support from the Liverpool FC Institution (not the supporters) to Luis. Is Ferguson God? Why does anybody come up with a notification against him? And what about Evra? Wasn’t it him who started all this issue by telling Luis “sudaca”? And Ferdinand, that denied Luis’ handshake? From this side of the world, we see that the totally passive and injust attitude of Liverpool on not defending Suárez it’s really alarming. Liverpool is not a “small team” as we say here in my country, it’s a “world’s giant” and he has to “put on his pants” in all this issue. Dear Liverpool supporters that like we all Nacional supporters are fun of Luis Suárez I just leave you all a question: if a person would have accused you of having had racism attitudes towards somebody when you really haven’t and you know it, and in the wake of such complaint, an organism would have left you off your work during two months and would have obliged you to pay a punish of 50.000 €, you all, would give a handshake to such person? Another question: is sir Evra a good person, or makes inconvenient constantly? Another question: haven’t you never thought that such attitude could have been a confabulation from the Manchester United so that such team would put aside from the football field one of the best forward of the world? Think about it, answer these questions and do not let that a bad-intentioned pursued put Suárez out of the box template you love. Defend Suárez and do not permit such thing happen.
