The more I am beginning to think that I believe that Martinez was offered our job.I think that he probably asked the relevant questions about how the club was going to be run,and who had the power for what,and the transfer situation.Probably like what happenned when he was interviewed and offered the Villa job, and decided he couldn't take that club forward under the terms and conditions that were on offer.Plus the fact that our current owners don't seem to be the most trustworthy and truthful of people,I honestly think Martinez turned us down after learning what was to come-whereas Rodgers was so delighted at the offer of the job he probably wasn't as thorough in his questioning of the owners and their working plans for the future.
