The Tangerines boss believes there is no club with a better tradition, support or atmosphere than LFC, saying nobody has managed to emulate us in terms of being a "real football club". Holloway said: "I just hope that things go well for Liverpool because the tradition of that football club, the way their fans are, that song they sing at the start - that's a real football club. "I want to make Blackpool as famous, if not more famous, which is going to be impossible because even Fergie hasn't done that yet, he hasn't quite beat Liverpool yet." Liverpool Shooting: Reports Of Gunshots In Anfield Area, Merseyside Police Investigating | UK News | Sky News Merseyside Police are investigating reports of gunfire in the Anfield area of Liverpool. Officers were called to Breck Road at 7pm following reports from several members of the public that they had heard gunshots. A search of the area is underway and armed officers are surrounding at block of flats in the area, according to a police spokesman. "A green Volkswagen Passat car has already been located in Breck Road and the scene around it has been cordoned off for forensic examination," the spokesman added. Breck Road and several roads around it have been closed off. Detectives have said they do not know who the intended target was or what the motive was. Anyone heard them ?
