I got a work colleague called Ash, and I find him quite annoying, pedantic and has bad habits in his job. Without boring you with details, he is good at the technical side of the job but his attitude to work and customer service is not what I'd call brilliant. He has applied for a job elsewhere in a role I think he'd be better at as it's more technical, less customer service like, nonetheless he wouldn't be my selection. My friend Gus who works at the other place has clocked that we are friends on Facebook and has asked me what my opinion of him is. Do I screw myself and Ash by giving an honest appraisal or do I lie through my teeth and sing his praises so he will have a better chance of leaving and becoming Gus' problem?
