Just looking at the Sunday Gossip page on BBC Sport and clubs are asking the most ridiculous money Premiership clubs are asking for players they're selling this summer. Within our own house, getting £11m for Crouch is almost as outlandish as us paying £18m for that brummie fool. We paid too much for Keane, but got more than we should of for that gormless goalkeeper. But then you've got the Blueshite after £10.5m for Andy Johnson! £10.5 million pounds!! What the fuck? £17m for David Bentley! Apparently Arsenal have told Newcastle that any move for Phillipe Senderos will cost £10m or £7 + a class keeper like Shay Given! Fuck me! £10m for that hack? And Spurs thinking of offering £18m for Dean Ashton? Is the world going absolutely mad? Why are clubs demanding such outlandish fees for their players this summer?
