In the NOTW tomorrow. I take it all the people on here who have criticised Chris Bascombe for going to work for the ''Sunday Sun'' over the past eighteen months or so will be quick to castigate Gerrard for the same thing or will they sweep it under the carpet? My guess is on the latter. You all know who you are. This subject was only on this very forum the other week so can we say these people will round on Gerrard for doing an exclusive for the NOTW? This should be the crime of the century to some on here now. Our club captain, club icon, local lad, doing an exclusive with the ''Sunday Sun''. Will we see a double standards scenario on here now? I have never bought into all the NOTW/Sun thing. To me the boycott starts and ends with The Sun until somebody says Boycott The Sun and the NOTW.. I am pretty sure our club captain would have been comfortable doing this exclusive tomorrow and he has nothing to feel guilty about. I don't read or buy the NOTW by the way, I don't buy any of the Sundays really but I enjoy reading Chris Bascombe and always have done since his Echo days and will read his stuff on NOTW website.
