First match thread of a new season in a new era. We've got owners who so far seem to be good. We've got a manager that every fan loves and is behind. And we've team that all seem to be pulling in the same direction with full support of the fans and the only bickering been the 11 year olds saying how shite this or that player is that we are rumoured to be after. It's so nice to pretty much be able to conentrate just on footy as a fan after a good few years of so much shite. A new dawn under the King. Life's not so bad after all. As for the game itself. We've had shite pre-seasons for a few years now, so a few wins would be nice. Who will play? Will the little Chinese players think Carroll is a God to be worshipped and just bow around him, thus allowing Kuyt the space to score? Will Comolli insist in playing seen as he's wasting his time there anyway? What's the forum view?
