Now, I dont want to sound bitter, so let me start by saying I don't think we should have had a pen yesterday as i think it was handball, but just outside the box in my opinion.
But having said that, it seems to me we've had a much rougher time of penalty decisions this season than most. Not just the ones not givem, but the ones given against too.
So as an exercise, I thought i'd try to compile a list of the big penalty decisions that have gone for and against us this season, just to see if it actually balances out.
the problem is, my memory is shite (especially about the ones that are in our favour, surprisingly), so if we all put our noggins together, a really comprehensive list can be put together just to see, for the sake of science, where we stand.
Here's my starting list for 10;
Decisions in our favour: (bold means wrong decision)
Penalty against Spurs (away)
Penalty against spurs (home)
Penalty against Birmingham (home)
No penalty for foul on crouch (home)
Decisions against us: (again, bold means wrong)
No penalty for foul on gerrard against arse (home)
Penalty given to reading (home)
No penalty for assault on Lucas against Stoke (away)
No penalty for pull on Lucas against Stoke (away)
as i say, my memory is shite, so there are loads more that i have forgotten, can you guys help me put the list together just for the purposes of science?
