Now I know this is a LIVERPOOL FOOTBALL CLUB forum. But I wanted to gage opinion on this because firstly, I've just came back from my Nans funeral; And I've had some cracking, good natured discussions with the blue members of the family. One blue waxed lyrical about the King. I mean really, he couldn't speak highly enough of him, bringing up several anecdotes of why he thought he was a fantastic football man. Then another Uncle proclaimed how Steven Gerrard was "the best player in the world hands down". Both staunch blues. I proceeded to have many conversations with them and my cousins, where they complimented our atmosphere, our players, with me complimenting Evertons Fa cup run, and David Moyes, amongst other things. Anyway, the other reason I decided to start this was ScottyT's RAWK bashing thread because a poster dared to show support for our city's other team. For me, I can't bring myself to hate them. I know far too many blues. Family, friends, even ex-girlfriends. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy beating them as much as any other game of the season. And the nasty edge that has developed in recent years really gets to me and I've definately had feelings of hate for them, but only for a temporary period of time after which it subsides. So, I'd like to know what you think of Everton.
