Why do I love this man so? He is utterly wonderful. I agree with practically everything he says. He makes me laugh, intrigues me, educates me, encourages me to seek more education. He is an utterly charming, warm, lovely human being. He improves everything he appears in. His autobiography, of which I've read only a little, is fascinating and honest. His appearances in one of my favourite shows, Bones, make it much better than every other episode. QI is a show that I always find amusing and entertaining but I learn things from it as well, which is genuinely rare these days. So many people have called the man a national treasure and there is no greater phrase you can use to encapsulate how brilliant he is. And anyone who disagrees is a dick :D EDIT: I realise I answered my own question.
