Been thinking about getting another dog this week so today I headed down to the local RSPCA animal centre. Now I was expecting to be asked questions about my lifestyle. Perhaps they would want to see how my other dog got on with any prospective new one. I could even understand if after this they ruled out certain dogs. What I didn't expect is to be told is that I am a unsuitable person for owning any dog.
I work like a lot of people but I am lucky in that I able to come home at lunch times. According to this RSPCA branch I would still be leaving any dog on their own for far too long. Now I know there are a few dog experts out there on the GF. Is this the kind of thing I can expect from all rescue homes? Is it even right?
