  1. Here we go again in the biggest annual sporting event in the world. This year, I'm predicting Bradley Wiggins for the maillot jeune in Paris. He's in fine form with 3 wins in his last 5 starts and some superb time trials where he's beaten Cadel Evans by handy margins. If Wiggins has any weakness, it's that his team will be divided between helping him in the mountains and helping Mark Cavendish in the sprints. Evans's team will concentrate solely on Cadel reaching the podium. denis menchov may surprise. It's mostly live for 4 hours a night in Oz starting at 10.30 pm with a couple of highlights shows as well. I've prepared by stocking up on a selection of European beers and lots of snacks. The family have been briefed that I am not to be disturbed for any reason other than quick and dirty sex and even then I'll have to think about it. It's arguably the hardest sporting event on the planet, roughly equivalent to running 20 marathons in 3 weeks. I'll probably be a square-eyed zombie by the time they roll into Paris.
