It's a painful question to ask, but I'm genuinely concerned for him as he looks a complete shadow om himself. To me it seems like he can't run properly anymore. It's one thing opposition just waltzing past him in midfield, which is bad enough. It's another that he can't even do it when he's got a scoring opportunity in the making. So I don't think the problem is that he just can't be arsed. Is he perhaps carrying an injury? As far as I know he isn't (I know he's protecting his groin as a precaution), but I'm almost hoping I'm wrong. His vision and passes are still there, but it's very worrying seeing people cruise past our captain who not so long ago was near on impossible to beat one on one anywhere on the pitch.
