How has that conclusion not been reached in the wider public consciousness yet? If you look around at the various scandals that have emerged over the last five years, there is no doubt whatsoever that the establishment in this country has been utterly corrupt for a long, long time. I'm talking about: the bankers, the expenses scandal, phone hacking, Hillsborough corruption, the Jimmy Savillel scandal, the fact that it now looks like the Thatcher government covered up the paedophilia of one of their own despite there being a full inquiry into child abuse in children's homes in North Wales that revealed this. People tend to think of corruption as being an African or Eastern European problem. However this country is absolutely riven with it at the top. Is there any scandal that would surprise anyone any more if it were revealed?
