He should have tried to take the ball around the keeper, but either way he should have finished better.
But he will not miss two of those chances, so we should never have subbed him.
He has been poor for weeks mate.
The guy has been amazing for us and has credit in the bank but whatever stats you put up the eyes say different.

I can forgive the result after last week's shit show but I cannot forgive the most cowardly, gutless European 2nd half performance I've ever seen under Klopp. That was fucking dreadful. At half time we were in control. Three attacking subs later we were on our knees spreading our arse cheeks for a shit mid table Italian team. Utterly fucking unforgivable. Wankers.
I think that after the Salah miss we ran out of ideas.
Needed a big 10 at the start of the 2nd half but we were flat. subs made little impact we needed a spark Trent tried but he needs to learn not to play the Hollywood pass every time .
Atalanta are a good side and fair play to them we took them lightly at ours and they did a number on us I seem to recall them doing the same to AC Milan in series A. You've got to give these teams respect and not just think a win I'd a given

Looking like we've run out of ideas. Need Darwin to mix things up.......or Gomez
Edit: Missed the Nunez sub didn't realise he was on the pitch
-
Need Nunez and Jota on.
Salah needs hooking I love the guy but he is invisible at the moment

Bradley's spot in the side is in danger with this Trent lad about.
We really need to find a way to start them both

There is something different about playing Man United at Old Trafford, but if we can't beat them with the level they're showing, we are not winning all our other away matches.
Thankfully, we'll beat them.
I think we will beat them too, but like you say playing them there you never know, we will still have a gap to City and I don't understand why people are so confident Arsenal will win all their games. If we had their run in people would have said we had lost the title already.
Tottenham away wont be easy and arguably harder than us going to Everton.

Yes it does. If we draw (and we'll be lucky to do that) tomorrow, we'll be on the same points as the arse with catastrophically worse goal difference. And Arsenal will not drop points.
If (when) we drop points, it's over.
We might sneak third If we're lucky.
You do talk out of your arse

If we drop points tomorrow, we are finishing 3rd.
If we draw tomorrow but win the next 7 I'm pretty confident we win the league. It's a big but I know but dropping points tomorrow doesn't mean it's over.

Definite penalty. What are people moaning at?
I think it's more that the defender got the ball first and we were told that was the reason the mcallister one wasn't given.

Munoz swapping shirts with Haaland is fucking pathetic.

I'm not sure where darts is going currently.
The standard is god-like and seeing big checkouts regularly whets my appetite. However there is an element creeping onto darts...it's called niceness.
There are less spats and beef between players these days, they would rather fist-bump than fisticuff!
There is potential with fat Tyrone to cause the occasional argument...but he's just a kid, bwah bwah leave him alone the social media fans say.
I want proper argy bargy on stage, players really losing there shit to the point of wanting to throw a punch.
Darts has gone soft and i don't like it.
There are too many tournaments. Yes it has improved the standard but if someone loses they arent arsed as there is a tournament the following week (and sometimes PL midweek).

Arsenal missed a trick there city were there for the taking but they were a happy with a draw when a win would've been massive for them not so much for the 3 points but for the lift it'd given them.

Marvellous. More injuries. Dunno how severe and less hope they're not serious but still. Just rubs salt in the wounds
I'm hoping they are international break injuries...about time we played the game

Fair enough. You're right: the team has done wonders recently, and even the very best teams have games like this. It's why it was so incredible and unprecedented that we came so close to the quadruple 2 years ago. I'm just annoyed at the moment like everyone else. I was calling them all pricks at the final whistle because I was so angry with the way they twice threw the game away, but even in that moment there was a voice at the back of my mind telling me to stop being so ungrateful after all the other recent things they have done. I'll sulk about it for a bit this evening and then tomorrow I'll have moved on from it and be grateful for what's been achieved so far this year and be looking forward to the other games again.
Fair play to you mate, we all feel like that but a lot of people post stuff in the moment and then feel they have to double down on it.

In much of the first half and extra time they did, but they completely gave up in the second half and weren't even doing most of the basic things you'd expect a team to do - tracking runners, closing down shots etc. The story after the match should have been all about just what a complete embarrassment most of their players are. This all occurred because of complete complacency from us. Hopefully it spurs us on in the league and a game or 2 less may even be beneficial in the long run, but it's also hard not to worry what sort of impact a defeat like that will have on morale.
That's harsh mate this squad have run their bollocks off in recent weeks. With injuries we have we have no right to br in the title mix now. They have had no Europe this year or milk cup. I'm as disappointed as the next guy (unless is drowningman) but it's just a bump in the road, there's a reason no-one has won 4 trophies

We had that won twice and couldn't see it out which is unlike us. Although the winner we'd gone all in to try and score from the corner...how many times had that worked in the last minute just a shitter it was against them we blew it.
I think klopp will use this...were winning the league

Good to know you can kick opponents in the chest and face now.
If I was a paranoid guy I'd think that refs have been told not to give any free kicks for high foot this weekend to cover Oliver's arse but that line of thinking is absurd I know.

There was a moment last night (round about 30 or 35 minutes) when the Sparta fans all held their scarves up, YNWA style, and the Kop applauded.
Any idea what that was about?
If its the moment I'm thinking was Harvey. Virg and Diaz coming out to warm up.
Just coincidence I think that it was same time
Mohamed Salah
