  1. Good win considering we could of been dead and buried in that first half . That Borja should of scored twice and Cork had a half chance as well . On another day we might of been 4 down just in the first half.

Massive improvement in the second half though and got our just rewards when Firmino equalised from an Henderson assist

Coutinhio nearly scored another "Goal of the Month" contender shortly afterwards.

After loads of pressure and possession afterwards

and time running out Angel Rangel (best name in the premier league) bought Firmino down in the box and Milner coolly converted . BTW anyone notice Milner's Cruyff turn down the wing when he got away from Fer.

Then we just needed to see out the game and inexplicably nearly gifted Swansea an equaliser when they missed a sitter right in the end . IMO karius should of come for it , in fact does he know that he can come off his line when a cross comes in , man .

He was really erratic on Saturday to tell the truth . Swansea had a free kick in the first half and the ball was like a hot potato , he caught it twice . Also when he did leave his line for a corner he was flapping like a bird and feigned injury.

Klopps got a big call to make with the goalkeeping situ coz we were very very lucky on Saturday . I personally would bring back Mignolet for the Mancs game in a fortnight .

  2. Fat Sam has the last laugh.....

    Allardyce to receive £1m payoff

Sam Allardyce is expected to receive a payoff of about £1 million after serving only 67 days as England manager before leaving the role yesterday.

The FA said Allardyce’s position had became untenable as soon as the details of his remarks to undercover reporters from The Telegraph, posing as Far East businessmen wanting to set up a football agency, became known on Monday evening.

    A BACKHANDER ?
  3. If we keep playing like this and still with a shout for the league come January are we really gonna release Manè for the upcoming African Cup of Nations?

I mean do we have to as it could be the difference between winning and losing the title once again .

The only game we've lost this season is Burnley (A) and guess who wasn't playing in that one . He is becoming a very important and pivotal player for the Reds this season and it would be very interesting to see him playing out the whole season with us from a selfish perspective to see if he and the squad can deliver title no19 for the fans and the city.

    We live in hope .

  4. Sad to hear today of the passing of Mel Charles who was 81 year's old a truly Welsh great (the late John Charles's brother ).

He played for Wales in the 1958 Sweden World Cup where we lost to Brazil (Pele scored in a 1 0 defeat ) in the quarter finals . Pele described him as the best defender in the competition. Great praise indeed .

He played for his country from 1955 to 1962 .

His club career was with Swansea (hometown club),

Arsenal , Cardiff , Porthmadog Fc (my local club), Port Vale , Oswestry and Haverdfordwest.

When he played for Porthmadog it was a big coup as we were only semi professional and it coincided with the club's most successful period ever.

I imagine there will be some sort of tribute, rememberance before the Liverpool game on Saturday in memory of Mel.

    Rest In Peace Mel .

Cysga yn dawel Mel bach .
