    As this series has gone on I've become to really dislike Shane Warne. I thought he was a total cunt as a player, I absolutely hated him no matter how brilliant he was. I thought he was a good, impartial commentator but as England have gone further and further in front the veneer has slowly come away and he's actually a bitter plastic faced whopper. He's been digging away at Cook all series despite the fact we won it THREE fucking NIL.

     

    As for that total and utter DISGRACE tonight, I don't have enough words to describe my contempt for what has happened. It is shambolic. For me the umpires are getting off far too lightly. They made the decision. I know they have guidelines and rules to follow but they have a responsibility to use their common sense. And they didn't. They acted like robots and hid behind their light meter readings.

     

    There were 24 balls left. That could have been done in fifteen minutes. It was dark but it wasn't dangerous. Every single person who paid to watch the cricket today have been robbed of seeing a result, plain and simple. It is a scandal. The ICC are of course to blame, but the umpires are also to blame. They have brains (apparently), they should be using them and their common sense. Absolute travesty. England might not have won. We'll never find out and we should have.

     

    And for Aleem Dar to wave at the crowd... that pissed me off so much it's untrue. He should be bowing his head in shame and instead he acts like a clown. It must be hilarious to deny people who have paid a fortune to watch a game of cricket the chance to see a result. Bellend.

     

    We've won 3-0 and I'm ending the series pissed off because of that. No justice for England, who made a brilliant shot at going for the match. Hopefully how close we came will have some impact on the pysche of the Australians for the next series. They played well this test and but for a nonsensical ruling would probably have lost. That's the best they can do - only just scrape a draw.

     

    It'll be a closer series down under but I am going to enjoy this. Never thought we'd win a series to nil. We just need to improve with the bat because we haven't hit a big score all tour. We've just done the bare minimum. We've been fine up here, we might not get away with that in Australia.

     

    Totally agree about Warne, I thought he was talking absolute rubbish yesterday evening saying that 3.0 flattered England. I just don't see it...England were below average this series in general but still were able to do enough when it mattered. Yesterday afternoon was a case in point during the run chase.
