Was just about to say the same. If things don't change it could be a 2 or 3 goal romp.
I am banking on it.

Brazil are going to get bummed here, dead hard.
-
Barca can put all the performance-based clauses they want in Suarez's contract with them, but they must pay Liverpool whatever Liverpool are asking for.
Is right.
How he performs and is incentivised/ rewarded for that is between him and his new club, it's got nothing to do with us or how we are paid.
Barcelona need to either pay up or fuck off
-
A Nike shop it seems, which is a bit out of order.
-
on BBC "what a piece of management, Manchester united fans will..." and I turned the TV off:D what a fucking wankers haha
The coke head I presume......
-
Van Gaal wankathon in media now, never realised Krul is such a knobhead.
-
Ridiculous shite from van gaal this
-
Might be a case of Sanchez not liking being seen/used as a makeweight in a deal for Suarez.
Lad may not want to leave the club, and if he does have to then I suppose his pride might say ok but I'm no makeweight.
-
I hope they go out in the qualifying round.
Would be great

Fuck knows why players go to Arsenal, then.Re: An Tha
You're right. Which is why I am so disillusioned with players these days. CL football is a right and not a privilege for so many of them. God forbid they have to work for it. And it's not just enough for many of them to be in it. It has to be for a squad that will have a legit chance of winning it.
They turn up in it every year, never compete.
The champions league has a lot to answer for, the virtual death of the cup comps, a development of an attitude that finishing 4th is an achievement to celebrate, it's killed the uefa cup, and created a shit attitude amongst players when it comes to transfers/staying at clubs
And don't get me started in the seeding for it - we could have won the league last season and go in like man City did as englands champions but get a fucking stinker of a group due to it whilst arsenal limp into 4th year in year out and get rewarded with a group that wouldn't trouble half the teams in the premier league unduly.

I don't doubt the former, and obviously agree with the latter. It just seems a bit...well...shit, and perhaps a bit head in the sand to just say "fuck him, his loss". Its worrying, especially after last season, that we can't convince players to come here over Arsenal.
Rodgers is doing an excellent job with what he has, I still can't shake the feeling that it isn't being matched by our transfer negotiations. I don't know what it is. Not offering enough cash? Not convincing players that we'll spend big, and on other top class players. Ayre just being a bit mongy? I don't know, but we seemingly have a hand brake on somewhere. We've got Champions League football now, what the fuck is going on?
I honestly believe we are paying for being away from the top table these last few years, whilst year in year out Arsenal and Chelsea have been there.
Now we are back we need to stay there and it won't take long before players are more convinced by us again.
OK it's hardly a revelation I am making here, but for me it is that straight forward.
Champions League participation is just the big pull for players, and whilst we are back in it I think that a lot of players will look at clubs who have been in it year on year before they will look at us.

Fuck him, if he does not want to play for us it is his loss.
-
Or what?
Or we are frigging stupid
-
It's funny isn't it, when suarez was signing his new deal there were reports in the mirror for example that the clause was 100m and even higher for an English club.
Now it's 60 odd.
Basically nobody knows, but it better represent his value, which is a a lot closer to 100m than it is 60
-
If that is true it's fucking criminal.
22 frigging million less than Gareth Bale, 22 frigging million.
-
Teddy Sherringham
-
Take that if true
-
31 goals says otherwise.
Alright, yeah - but year after year?
-
We called his bluff last summer.
We did, do we want to again, though.
I love the lad, but this saga every summer is becoming a joke. I hate saying it but it's time to put up or shut up, he either wants to be here or he can go, for top dollar.
-
His value to us has nothing to do with what they want to pay.
Does his value to us go out the window though if he is adamant he wants to go.
The cuntishness of football nowadays sees this happen - you tell your club you really want to go, we'll bid and then when they tell us to do one you kick off..
End result player goes as club can't keep unhappy player and club gets nowhere near the value. Another club being in for him would help us, that would have defo happened if he hadn't been a prick at the world cup.
-
And therein lies the problem.
IF he wants to go, and there is only one buyer, what is he worth?
As much as they want to pay is I suppose the answer.
That said surely the release clause is north of that figure.
-
Let's say that bid is right, it does not bode well for us getting much more than 65.
Which is way under what he should be sold for.
-
If that first bid is right then they aren't going to bid anywhere near his value.
No.frigging.deal.

What I wouldn't give for a Henry tweet asking about the particular brand of drugs they're smoking over at the Camp Nou right about now.
Brian Reade has asked that same question on the mirror website.
