  1. Darren Till has said on twitter than Colby Covington is "out" of the fight with Woodley and Till's been offered the title shot for UFC 228 in September, but Woodley isn't interested. Very strange to offer it to Till after he missed weight horrifically for the Wonderboy fight.
  2. Really? That's mad, I assumed Usyk would be the universal favourite, maybe they're taking Russia into account. I haven't been this excited for a scrap in ages.
  3. I agree with that prediction mate - but being a pessimist I do fear for the scorecards in Russia. If everything is above board, and the judges do their job, I think Usyk wins via UD. What a fight, I cannot wait to give ITV my money. I think Beefy is going to get smashed to pieces though unfortunately.
  4. The only reason a Groves rematch would be big would be if they both had world titles surely, I understand though Degale would have been smashed to pieces by Uzcategui. Fielding would have been fighting for that vacant title, had he not taken the Zeuge fight for that poxy "regular" title.
  5. They can take all my money for that fight!
  6. I'm gutted it's in Russia, once the Middle East date was lost, I assumed it would be at a natural venue in Germany and I'd of made the trip. I can't wait for it though, any word on Smith / Groves yet?
  7. After seeing the odds and knowing that Taylor is going into the WBSS if he wins (meaning there's a massive financial risk in the Postol fight), I thought I'd watch Postol's last fight. I just assumed he'd lost to Crawford and then fought and beat an up and comer in Najmiddinov. Safe to say Postol is shot to shit (or wasn't that good to begin with). Najmiddinov drops him in the 1st but it was ruled a slip (it wasn't), he's dropped again but very hard this time in the 5th, he got a slow count and was lucky to survive. The judges had it wide but it wasn't wide at all. Honestly I think Taylor will stop him after seeing that.
  8. Yeah I agree, Paul flapped from the fight for years and made his brother fight him instead. Anybody else think Postol has a much better chance than people are giving him against Josh Taylor this weekend? Postol has only lost once to Crawford and looked great when he made Matthysse quit.
  9. I think we could sell out the Echo. In all seriousness it's a shame he flapped from the Fielding fight.
  10. Whilst I'm still fully on board the Ritson hype train, he's going to come unstuck if he fights like he has done in his last 3 against a banger and/or granite chinned fighter. He leaves his chin in the air and is far too easy to hit. I'm fucking made up about that Usyk and Gassiev announcement, fair play to Usyk the mad bastard.
  11. Will it though? Peynaud is 6-5-3, he was drafted in as the opponent last time at a days notice and Benn just thought he'd walk through him and didn't even do the basics for 2 rounds. Paynaud is massively shite and will probably get stopped early. Shit isn't it, it all went so well until the finals but both have become a bit of a farce now. I'm made up Canelo/GGG has been made, that's what Warren and Saunders get for taking the piss and pulling out of fights to make other ones. Now Saunders is left with his dick in his hand and he's not even the only other belt holder at 160 now that the IBF stripped GGG - so his value has gone even more down. Saunders was only relevant because him and Golovkin could fight for the undisputed title, now they can't
  12. Kell Brook Vs Brandon Cook on the Whyte/Parker undercard haha fucking do me a favour. Whyte Vs Parker Kell Brook Vs Brandon Cook Katie Taylor Vs Kimberly Connor Joshua Buatsi Vs Ricky Summers Conor Benn Vs Cedrick Peynaud Get your £17.99 ready.
  13. Looks like the WBSS cruiserweight final has gone to shit. Usyk was injured so they lost the middle east date (and cash). The only way to make up that loss of earnings is having it in Russia as the ticket sales will be huge but Usyk and his team, being Ukrainian are (obviously) refusing to fight in Russia. Gassiev is likely to fight Tabiti in Russia instead.
  14. Not to mention liquidating 3 separate promotional companies that ran into financing issues.
  15. The Crawford win just about confirms how fucking shot to shit Pacquiao is at this point. Crawford Vs Spence is the only fight to make at 147.
  16. Khan/Brook? Doubt it gets made like but you never know. I did read that he was thinking of bringing the new Pacquaio moving circus to England for Khan. That would sell and it's very easy to make now Pacquiao is basically just a Harlem globetrotter attraction. Failing that, Bellew/Ward? Bellew/WBSS winner? He could sign free agent Degale on a one fight deal and do Groves/Degale2 or not sign Degale if Smith wins and do Smith/Degale? Can't think of much else. I wonder if Sky/Eddie will pick up the WBSS this season too, they could do some stuff with that Bantamweight one.
  17. I'm sure I read that he has to put on 6 PPV's a year. Sky massively overpaid for the footy, so they're trying to get it back anyway they can. I'm very surprised he hasn't put Chisora / Whyte 2 on PPV.
  18. Whyte / Parker fight is actually a god scrap but putting it on PPV is a fucking joke from Hearn, the horrible greedy cockney twat, which is a shame because everybody is complaining about that instead of praising the fight. It could be alright if he does what he did with that Brook/Gavin card back in 2015. When he had Brook/Gavin (IBF world title), Gradovich/Selby (IBF world title), Linares/Mitchell (WBC world title), Ryder/Blackwell (British title) and it had a green Anthony Joshua fighting Kevin Johnson too. That was a boss card, which didn't have any stand out big names on it. So here's hoping he does something like that with this.
  19. Any cunt who calls him self “The Sauce” needs to be KO’d.
  20. Fucking hell I didn’t half call that did I. What a fight and Doyle stopped him. 8/1 you could get on Doyle. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. The problem with that Gorman is he always comes in far too heavy and he's not at all heavy handed. If he could keep his weight down properly he could probably do things.
  22. I'm really looking forward to the boxing tonight, belter little card for a Wednesday evening at York Hall. Okolie / Watkins will end early, Watkins doesn't have a chin. Cheeseman Vs Paul Upton will be a decenmt scrap, both undefeated. Upton used to be with Hatton but I think all of the "Upton clan" left him a year or so ago. Reece Bellotii Vs Ryan Doyle will steal the show though, that will be a boss scrap and I wouldn't be surprised if Doyle won.
  23. He beat Kovalev in the first and took his soul in the second.
  24. Special fighter, there can't be many boxers this side of the 00s with a better winning resume. I almost thought you was being serious for a second.
