I've been following LFC longer than at least the majority and we have never had a player like this who has used his influence to destabilise the club and then use that influence to reward himself with that disgraceful contract Purslow signed on the last day of the old regime.
He has no love for this club, he fucked his boyhood club off for flimsy reasons so how can anyone say he has any more time for LFC with a straight face is beyond me.
He was a great player and would have went down into legendary status if he hadn't then used his influence in such negative ways and for personal gain.
You can deny it all you want but many Liverpool fans have seen straight through him and I hope it is a warning to any other players who believe their own hype and think they are bigger than the club.
