If he did leg it to the states as some historians claim he may well have been caught had the crimes be carried out in modern times. But then i guess you could say many serial killers of earlier times only got away with their crimes.modern techniques such as DNA and forensics would have lowered the body counts for many serial killers. it was not that they were smart it was that the police did not have the same science they have now allowing them to keep on killing.

Does anyone have any thoughts about why the landlord has not been cleared by the police yet? You would think the police would know if the person they have charged acted alone or not by now. failure to clear him quickly just seems wrong if they know the landlord was not involved.
