I don't think his legacy here will be as a selfish prick or troublemaker if I'm honest.

Perhaps we are turning on him just a tad too harshly.

We're all pretty gutted, over all, about the season.

He's a liverpool legend, he'd make it into my all time XI, but when you're shit you shouldn't moan about being dropped. Ronaldo ego type reaction.

The fine line you walk with greatness I suppose.

Still, in context, what Klopp has given these players he deserves better than those 'optics'. He turned a chelsea reject into one of the top three players in the world. Today's histrionics were a fucking disgrace, and he's a cunt for doing it, and the fire bollocks too.

No player should carry on like that.

But the game itself, the obscene money, makes cuntery pretty de rigueur now unfortunately.

I wouldn't want to have a beer, or a Fanta, with any of them.

I'm not sure it's been "over-achievement" before the collapse....

It's perhaps no coincidence that there isn't an English side in any of the ECL/Europa Semi-Finals (Villa are in the Conference one).

This has been a "poor" English League this year and because of that perhaps we looked better than we are up until recently.  City and Arsenal have come good, and I can still see City maybe pulling away in the last few games.

    It's nothing less then shambolic.

How is it even possible to leave Calvert Lewin with a free header 5 yards from goal? Fight for it you lazy coward!

He's a real talent but where do we play him? He can't defend so RB should be out of the question. He can't play as a no 6 as he can't tackle a fish pudding. Attack? Nah...

It's frustrating to have such a good player but nowhere to play him.

Aside from occasional free kicks and Hollywood passes, it sounds like we're talking about a fairly average performer, who gets too many hall passes because he's "local".

    Perhaps.

I can forgive a Liverpool side a lot, fuck knows we've seen some shite ones down the years, but putting in these kinds of performances against the mancs and the shite is unforgivable frankly.

    It really is.

Because - whether it's "unprofessional" or not - these games mean more than others.

They really are about pride in the shirt and the club, and frankly we looked lame and soft in these games.

That they were also crucial matches just makes it worse.

I'm not particularly arsed about this group going forward.

I thought he was shocking, but I understand how people with no actual football knowledge could watch the game and think he did okay.

Thats how it is with those who only are able to judge a game by what they actuall see with their eyes.

Where would we - the blind, who only see with our eyes - be without you translating everything into "football" for us?

    Forever indebted to you.

The announcement of his departure can’t be completely separated from our collapse though.

It’s human nature that the edge goes from a lot of players, who wonder what they’ll do next and if the new manager wants them.

    Yep.

Sadly it has turned into a bit of a shitshow, with the League Cup as consolation.

Mind you, it's as good an excuse as any to bin football for me.  It is shite.
