  1. His cowering lack of any sort of challenge for DCL was shameful for a vice captain. Granted he shouldn’t have been on him but he didn’t anticipate or even attempt a challenge.

It was also noticeable that when he moved further right and wider for 5 mins he started getting the ball.

The issue isn’t inverting, and I think people need to accept all the top teams do that now. The issue is the fact that he now never goes out wide. You’re meant to do both. That’s either coaching and tactics or execution by the player but either way it’s wrong.

He'd be part of the transfer discussions but there will be people above him, yeah.

Biggest question for me is tactically, really. Can you implement in the Premier League what you can implement in the Eredivisie where the intensity is way lower, the level is way lower.

Got Feyenoord to the Europa League final

  3. There’s definitely no outstanding candidate outside of Alonso, but for us it looks like for us he’s the best fit available. We don’t have to rip up the whole club and youth teams training and tactics, or rebuild the squad, plus he’s taken some shit sounding players at feyenoord and made them much much better.
Dutch connection with the current squad, seems like a good guy from reports/interviews.

I wasn’t excited about Amorim trying to implement a whole new system and I would have been utterly depressed with de zerbi. A German and Dutch assistant to a Dutchman is also a lot less of a cultural/personality shift than to an Italian/portugese.

Totally in and let’s just get it done.

There should only be four candidates really, unless someone makes a u-turn.

    Conte, Tuchel, Mourinho and Zidane.

Zidane has been waiting for the France job, but Deschamps has extended until 2026.

Fucking insane opinion. Basically might as well throw the entire foundations of the club in the bin

  5. It’s 8 years on now and it’s a traceable moment to 52 percent of the country voting to throw the country in the bin, for reasons they didn’t understand. I went to bed that night being sure common sense would prevail, and I remember getting the train to work in the morning feeling utterly devastated about it and what it was going to mean. The sooner we can reverse as much as this farce as possible the better

  6. Think the ‘was hitler right’ is an unhelpful distraction from the original conversation. Of course not and no right minded person would actually think that.

In the same way that no right minded person would use a religion, Judaism, as a cover for what Zionism is which is Neo colonialism based on perceived supremacy over another people. All under the cover of ‘anti-semitism’ if called out on this behaviour.

Israel and Zionism does not equal the Jewish cause and thankfully there are lots of non brainwashed Jewish people who recognise the obvious distinction. Rachel Riley isn’t one of them, and clearly neither are the defenders of her racist actions and intent on this forum.

To make clear if you support or defend words and behaviour like this, you are a racist and a bigot. It’s that simple.

And no amount of trying to deflect, or whataboutery will change that fact.

She didn't attribute anyting to Islamic extremism, she didn't conflate anything with peaceful marches, and it is an absolute fact that some people have been calling for a global Intifada.

You're just making things up now.

You are aware that lying about something or not wanting it to be factual doesn’t mean it’s not true?

it was ‘words, actions and behaviour's’.

Like, for example, using an event, attributing it to ‘Islamic extremism’ and falsely, and dangerously, trying to conflate that event with the peaceful marches attended by hundreds of thousands if not millions of people from all faiths religions and background with false quotes about a ‘call for global intifada’, as a false forewarning about the dangers of these peaceful marches.

    Horrible, dangerous racist.
