City booing at HT
Entitled cunts
That club is absolutely soulless. Narrowly behind to one of the best teams in the world, still very much in the game with everything to play for, and they boo. Unbelievable.

Arsenal are also on the edge of dropping points at home so my son is also having a shit day.
Losing currently. We're both handing it to the fucking cheats.

Feel sorry for Klopp, but his players didn’t wanna play for him in the end.
There's a lot of possible explanations for what's happening but that's not one of them.

I don't care what the sports science guys say, but if Mo really is observing Ramadan and not eating or (especially) drinking for 8 or 9 hours before the game, he should not be in the starting lineup.

No arguably about it.

We're all agreed that the ideal scenario is it goes down to the final game of the season, Everton spawn a point that keeps them up but hand's us the title then, on the day of our parade around the city, the premier league announces the result of Evertons punishment that relegates them anyway?
If Carlsberg did title run-ins...

You can be stood on the goal line. And the ball could be on the outside of the quadrant I guess and slightly played forward to then near post. But I always thought though the rule was just you can't be offside from a corner, just as you can't from a throw in.
Hmm yes I suppose that's right. Most players place the ball as far back on the quadrant as they can, don't they.
Turns out, it is the rule.

You can technically be in front of the ball from a corner. TechnicallyHow?

Can't be arsed to check if someone else already mentioned this but to be offside you have to be in front of the ball - which you obviously can't be from a corner.

We should really be starting Adrian in the second leg, if that isn’t too much of a risk at 5-1 up.
Big if...

Feels like a real shortage of decent candidates so only Xabi no one else.
That Amorim guy at Porto is definitely worth considering, I would say.

Harvey collapsed flat out when Virgil scored in extra-time. That lad gives absolutely everything for the shirt.

The only thing I can see stopping Xabi coming here is Xabi himself. He may feel it's too big a step, a year or two too soon. Of course, on the other hand, he doesn't know when an opportunity like this will come up again.

I love Harvey and have so wanted him to succeed here but it's becoming increasingly obvious that he doesn't have the physical attributes to do so :(

I've been saying (mostly to myself) from day 1 that the only relevant point about VAR is how it totally kills the joy of celebrating a goal. I just cannot comprehend how anyone who cares enough about football to have made it to the upper echelons of the FA, UEFA, FIFA, can't see that and thinks VAR adds anything to the game.

If he comes in and does averagely/poorly, there may be an opportunity to get a reenergised Jurgen back.
Don't do this to yourself. This way madness lies.

I'm going Xabi, deZerbi worth a look, what about Thomas Frank?

I was gonna say hopefully the players have known since November, and their performances show that they will fight on.
But then someone here pointed out how Trent, Mo, Virg have all not signed new deals :(
-
Someone needs to remind that cunt Neville that a player doesn't have to go down for it to be a foul.

People dismiss just how good Owen was.
For about 2 years he was arguably the greatest striker in the world.
And he has a Balon d'Or to prove it.

I still think we definitely need to buy a top class, very mobile and physically robust number 6.
Got anyone in mind? Andre?

I also appreciate the love you showed to Kostas. Another player who until recently was suffering excessive abuse for the cardinal sin of not being Robertson.
I'm 100% with you but nevertheless it was great to see Robbo giving Trent a massive bear hug on Inside Anfield, with what appear to be two fully functioning shoulders ☺️

I was thinking the exact same watching this and the Palace game.
