I was in shock when he brought Yossi off, but replacing him with Voronin was just downright stupid. He did NOTHING when he came on. Doesn't even face the goal when he gets the ball. Striker?? my bollocks.

Ngog did look tired but I though he gave the defenders a bit of a headache. He did win a fair few headers and gave 100% so leaving him on would have given him a boost. I'd like to see him given a role alongside Torres for a change and drop Gerrard back to mid with masch. Oh and Insua looked to me to be our worse player last night, looked knackered.

It's got to be Giggs, the greatest player to have ever graced the the world of football, just his mere presence has elevated the PL to it's rightful place as one of the best leagues in the world. Why isn't he knighted yet for goodness sake!

Spot on. If it wasn't for luck last year we wouldn't have finished 2nd. The signs were there last year that the squad is not good enough because if it was we would've won the title. We didn't because we're not good enough. And a lot of that is due to the players brought in that just don't cut it.

Gotta have faith. no point in being negative. Although saying that Benitez will prob take a neg approach and play with fuck all up front. The thoughts of either babel, voronin or ngog leading the line away from home is scary.

Big head would have been planning for this thinking that we would have Gerrard and Torres playing, so with them both out it could mess up his preparation and we might get a result. bit of a long shot but you never know.
