Besides El zhar in for Benayoun/Riera(who looked knackered again on wednesday) thats a very strong team, and I personally don't think El zhar is a slouch.

Absolutely. I'd give Darby a run out if it wasn't such a tough away game and we desperately need three points.

 

We do however have this season's most important fixture coming up on Wednesday so I can see the logic in throwing Darby in at the deep end to see if he sinks or swims. In fact, the more I think about it the more I'm inclined to take a chance on young Steven. Not easy, this management lark.

I actually think the younger, more inexperienced players (Lucas, Dossena, Ngog, etc) play better away from Anfield, away from the pressure.

I'd let Darby play against Boro but I'd be more cautious about playing him infront of our Home crowd.

Keane being Rafa's first choice striker is not the same as Keane being Rafa's first choice signing.

Rafa did not wasnt Parry to spend 20M on Keane, (nobody did) if it meant he wouldn't get Barry, and this was reported by Tony Barrett at the Echo so its pretty reliable, I'd say.
