If the mancs are gonna go with their usual smash it long into the space down the side behind us which seems to usually be on our right then whoever plays right back and or right sided centre half is gonna need to be on their guard and do their job well when needed.

I suppose that's why Klopp gave Konate the minutes against Sheffield Utd then. I'd rather he played Bradley and Robertson as well but asked them to sit a bit deeper than usual. At least to start with.

I absolutely fucking hate Man Utd. Just get these beat Reds.

I’d look at Gomez at right back with Robbo starting this one. As well as Bradley has done he’s looked knackered for a while now, and he was shite at Old Trafford in the cup. Endo, Macca and Szoboszlai start in midfield with Curtis coming on after an hour.

As long as you're not expecting Gomez to defend. He covered alot of ground against Sheffield Utd and was always involved, but defensively he was a liability. Lost his man for the chance in the first minute (which he tried to blame Diaz for) then might as well have not been there for the cross that led to the equaliser. Admittedly, I'm not his biggest fan, but he's been poor for a few games now.

  3. Their whole game plan (well, the one Ten Hag seems to have stumbled on anyway) is based around a line of six defenders and hitting a long ball into the channels for Rashford to chase in the hope something happens. When teams sit deep and do the same to them, they get turned over. Every time. I'd rather we sat, pressed them on half way then hit quick balls for Diaz, Nunez and Salah than have us camped in their half for them to hit us.

She's girl next door good looking. Likes the football and seems a nice enough girl.

I actually like her for being pissed off we scored. Shows it's not some kind of an act.

Yeah, she supports Arsenal, like Mrs Tash. You can't have it all can you.

They were an extremely strong political party for a hundred years or more.. They were an immovable object. Born to rule

It needed an outside force to change the political status quo. Something seismic and Europe was it. Let's not forget, the dim-witted leader of the Tories only called that referendum because he thought a stay vote would shut out the far right cranks in his party for a generation. Which it probably would have. However the British public threw a great big monkey spanner into the works. The Tory machine went bannanas. The lunatics were let out of the asylum and was not a pretty sight. They're about to suffer their worst election defeat for a century, a large part of their forthcoming defeat will be down to Brexit.

The right wing rags had been laying the foundations for Brexit for years with their nonsense about bendy bananas etc. Leave were always going to win - the referendum was just a formality.

Yep, loads and why shouldn't we thank anyone who's helped in the destruction of the Conservative Party, even if it was inadvertently.

They were always going to eat themselves. It's what they do once the cash has gone. Not sure the post-Brexit state of the country (and the divided, angry population) is a price I'm happy paying.

I honestly do think as well we are the 3rd best team, but it hasnt mattered yet. We just know how to win so far. And the gap between sides is not really big.

We were by far the better team in '89, but it hasn't stopped them dining out on that league win. The team at the top at the end is all that matters, despite what the prissy cunts think.

I probably need to see it again. From where I sit it was all about the cross from robbo. But gakpo is ok in the air anyway I think. In fact his problem isn't natural ability. He just has no urgency and looks petrified of everything. But he wasn't lacking in either of those areas tonight, which allowed us to see the bits he's good at.

Brilliant cross, but he finished it well in fairness. Just out of the keeper's reach. He's better when attacking crosses like this, rather than playing deeper.

Maybe we just don't expect to get anything even if we do complain (judging from Joe's "fucksake" shrug).

There is that, but we underestimate the shithouse nature of commentators and officials. There is a feed from VAR to commentary, but you can't convince me that the reverse isn't also true. If the players had have made a big deal of it, commentary would have too - meaning they'd have looked at it, no doubt in my mind.

How many managers would take off your top scorer with 30 minutes to go in a must win game?

The balls on this guy. He completely changed that game today. Man's a genius

Was a pretty easy call to make in fairness. Mo wasn't really getting in behind and was too close to the touchline when he received the ball to be able to turn and run. The subs made us more direct with runs in behind.

I agree, a salary/wage cap of some sort would be the fairest way to go, but there wouldn't be a big enough trough for all the snouts or enough grease for all the palms if they did that.

Which salary? Published one, or actual one?

Talk today is it will be got rid of for a luxury cap. Claiming the money those that go over will pay will even things out. Welcome to the world of sovereign wealth funds winning the league and gobbling up top 4 spots every year because the Saudi won't give a shit about luxury taxes

Football is doomed, well it is over here anyway

I'm hoping that we win the league this year because the way things are going, I can't see myself being arsed about footy after this.

  13. Fucking hell, some twat from the S*n on Sky Sports News arguing against PSR rules because the average football fan finds it too complicated. Jesus. That's our country in a fucking nutshell. "I dont get it, so it's wrong".

Edit: It gets better. Apparently, according to one paper tomorrow, Premier league clubs are in revolt against Premier League bosses. The Premier League bosses ARE the clubs. Is this kind of misinformation deliberate?
