  1. Wow, didn't realise you were a bellend before today.

I reckon the real test for the new site will be when the first tickets go on sale.

hey why dont you lick your arse some more seeing as you talk out of it.

lucky for me im a season ticket holder. doesnt that just grip your shits.

  2. 64 posts about some prick from chelsea

    15 posts about Bill

    Says it all really

Liverpool was made for me. And i was made for Liverpool ... When the ball is down the kop end, they frighten the ball. Sometimes they suck it into the back of the net.

aint that the half of it. one word for it disgrace. but they know who they are.

  3. Yeah I understand they'd look stupid but that didn't stop them wanting almost twice what they paid 18 months earlier.

well even rafa claims the club is now worth 500 million.

The only thing they'll be caring about at the moment is getting the balance sheet in a position so they can take on even more debt so that they can build the stadium.

could be. or they could just be chatting more shit.

  4. From any of the reports I've seen on a share issue the general consensus ahs been £100m for 30%. Obviously that could be complete bollocks for all we know.

I've just noticed the realtive weak Dollar against the Pound & Euro. Given those two are probably too thick to be able to convert from Dollars, now might be the time for someone to make an offer.

DP - I thought the reason for the share issue was to reduce the debt and hopefully provide further investment later. I can't see them pocketing that money (even if as you say they are within their rights too) Knowing the snidy fuckers though they'd probably take a bit of it for themselves.

george. they can use the money for whatever reason they want. they could say its to pay off debt then decide once they have the money to do what they want with it. they are the owners they do what they want. unless the banks have a charge on any new money coming into the club the banks cant tell the owners to pay off one penny over and above the agreed repayments.

  5. If a share issue was released, are there any rules to say how much those shares are worth? I mean could they say we value the club at £1b so £100m is worth 10%?

they can put any price on the shares as they want. if they put some silly figure on them though no one would buy the shares so theyd look very foolish. directors tend to value shares in line with the companys value but they could offer them for sale at a quid each or 1 million each.

  6. This share issue idea then. Lets say soemone takes the bait and forks out £100 for 30%. Does all that £100m go straight to paying off the clubs debt or do the two cunts get their grubby little mitts on any of it?

as they are sole owners they can do what they want. trouser it all use some to pay off debt give some to rafa heaven forbid etc etc etc. doubt very much the banks will have first charge on any of the club income too.

  7. That's been rumoured in a few places over the last couple of months. I'll believe it when I see it. I think it would take a special kind of idiot to pump in £100m with the yanks still in control.

Yep saw that. cant begin to wonder at wholl be tempted to through 100 million quid at them. maybes they think the fans will buy the shares.

he supposedly said he wouldnt turn us down if asked again

    something like that

klinsmann really is a clown isnt he. i wont turn you down again. sounds like the jilted girlfriend who thinks she may get a second chance. not.

Course he wouldn't, he's on the fucking dole isn't he?

    whs.

  8. As i see it, match fitness is arrived at by playing fucking matches. That's my two cents worth.

    is correct.

"my two cents worth" = twat

    just so you know.

    fucking typical.

we or rather our manager spends nearly 20 million quid and doesnt give the player a chance to get fit. its a fucking joke. hes been fit enough to be on the bench for the last 4 or 5 games but still its not the right time. when will be the right time.

rafa is running scared of using aquilani in case he gets injured which is as i understand football a recognised hazard.

    marvellous.

  9. Blame blame blame.

Sometimes things go wrong because sometimes shit just happens.

I can understand why you said that coop.

The Rafa-outers live by the blame game and it becomes natural to try and balance it out.

Everything that happens has to be someone's fault, usually Rafa's.

Except if Rafa points it out in which case it's another tiresome excuse.

Apart from maybe the length of time it takes for broken bones to knit back together it's nearly impossible to predict anything accurately when it comes to illness and injury recovery times.

The main question the doctors had to answer was whether he could get over his injury and play again at full strength. No time limits, just a yes or no.

If the answer is yes then the next question is how long it will take - but it can only ever be a carefully-thought-out, scientifically-calculated, big fat guess.

Rafa usually talks about things like this because he's asked. It's only now and again he prepares notes to get certain points over, and as far as I know he doesn't come armed with powerpoint presentations to show how he pins the blame for Aquilani on anyone else.

    He isn't blaming them!

He's pointing out what was said, the information that he used to make his decision.

I'm sure the club got clauses put in that prevent Roma getting all their money if the injury did turn out to be worse than was thought. Insurance probably covers all that from Roma's side anyway.

And I'm sure a big reason Roma sold him was because they could at least have some of the money now for him instead of waiting for him to get better.

If we'd waited until January we might have been in a queue. Especially if other clubs realised he was available and we'd come close to buying him. And even though he's taken longer to get fit than expected, it doesn't mean it's because of incompetence. He might have been made far worse had he stayed in Italy under their care.

See what I mean - blame blame blame!

Doctors will have said "n to nn weeks". Possibly with "but if this happens it could be even less, and of course if that happens it could be quite a bit more".

When our own existing players are injured we get a figure for how long they'll be out. "At least 12 weeks." "As much as ten days." "Rest of the season."

That's not set in stone either.

If it happens in a transfer window to a main player and there's any cash floating about it's information that can be used to decide whether or not to buy some cover.

Why does it have to be about blame? Rafa isn't blaming anyone. He's trying to point out he didn't just toss a coin to make his decision on the player, he didn't ask one of his daughters to help him decide, he used the information he was given to help him decide.

He was clearly asked what he thought about the recovery time being twice as long as originally thought. He didn't complain, he didn't blame anyone. And he added he'd still have bought him had the estimate been this long to start with.

That might be a touch of diplomacy in some ways, remember he's talking to the press not opening his heart to trusted confidantes. And it shows some public backing for a player already being described by some as shit (that's why Rafa won't play him you see, because he's so shit and it's going to make him look bad).

    There's that blame thing again.

So far all we know is that Aquilani has missed this much of the season. That's all. We've no idea yet if he'll be another Darren Anderton or if he'll finally be free of the injury curse you hint at with this three-years of absenteeism.

Even if you are insistent on playing the blame game you need to at least wait until something has happened before you blame it on anyone.

You're blaming Rafa for something that hasn't happened. You're grumbling about him blaming someone for something he's not actually blamed them for.

That's because there's no need to blame anyone yet.

He made a debut then took ill with a virus. Then we got injuries to other players during the games he might have been introduced into - but not injuries in his position. We also prioritised trying to win games over trying to get him fit.

All kinds of little factors have gone into Aquilani still waiting for his first start, hardly any of them - if any - are factors that need to be blamed on someone.

And one of the people doing the least amount of blaming is Rafa.

fuck me. talk about rafa apologist! have you got rose tinted glasses as well.
