  1. I went to the metropolis that is Edge Hill..

Studied Media and communication.. managed to scrape a third..

The summer after graduating I fucked about playing tennis, headers n volleys and getting stoned.

Ma n Pa soon told me to pull my finger out and get a job. Hadn't really thought it through? Didn't know what the fuck to do? Looked in the paper and saw Currys advertising.. ''It's media- ish'' I thought! Worked there for a year and then upgraded to the Sony Centre, flash get eh!. 12 months later I was sacked for not selling enough insurance. Cunts.

Went back to working on building sites, which I did in the summer months whilst a uni.

Now I work for my uncle in a engineering firm, went back to college with spotty little fuckwits and working my way up... I'm on £7 and hour grafting like fuck.

Basically try and have some sort of plan before you hit your third year.. Or just hope you get lucky?

  2. Took them in the dam once, never had a buzz like it. I've tried most illegal substances and have always been, pretty much in control of my actions.. Until I took shrooms! Turned into a totally different person, a giggling little school girl for the most part. A hour later I had the worst paranoia I have ever experienced. Funny as fuck though but put me off taking acid, once bitten twice shy.

Noel Gallagher is set to play his first post-Oasis gigs in March, for the Teenage Cancer Trust.

The guitarist will join Arctic Monkeys, Them Crooked Vultures, a reformed Suede, The Who, Depeche Mode and JLS on the line-ups for the charity gigs. They will take place at the London Royal Albert Hall from February 17.

Gallagher will play two gigs at the venue, on March 25 and 26. The Who's Roger Daltrey, whose band play their gig for the series on March 30, told NME.COM that the shows would be the guitarist's only live dates of 2010. For the rest of the line-up dates see below.

Speaking about the gigs in an interview for ESPN - which you can watch below - Gallagher said his sets would feature "all the golden oldies". He added that he's currently "taking a bit of time out" from the music scene.

It was announced last month that Suede would be reforming for their Teenage Cancer Trust show – without original guitarist Bernard Butler.

In addition to the gigs, a comedy night will take place at the venue as part of the series on March 23. The Mighty Boosh's Noel Fielding, Jimmy Carr and Rhod Gilbert will appear.

Tickets for all the shows go on sale at 9am (GMT) on Friday (February 5). See Teenagecancertrust.com for more information.
