Perfect theocracy would obviously be better because it’s perfect. Now, whose definition of perfect you want to go with is a different matter. I presume it is mine.

The more I read this the more stupid it becomes.  Well done.

A flawed democracy obviously but that doesn't resolve the issue.

There are monsters on both sides who are not sated with over 30,000 dead people and are quite will to let the conflict escalate.

    Do Iran want this though?

They knew if they take on Israel face to face they could be wiped off the face of the earth.

And yet they’ve supplied Hamas, Hezbollah and Yemen with weapons for years.

Really? I’m getting the feeling you may not have thought this through.

    Hasnt Israel been shelling Jordan?

Just to be clear there are no 'good guys here' yet apparently our government doesn't agree.

Oh it’s awful. Almost as if it’s that’s complex that it’s not been solved by some of the best negotiators that have been  thrown at it.

Just for clarity though. Would you prefer to live under a flawed democracy or perfect theocracy?

Just so I'm clear. Israel can bomb Gaza without retribution, they can they can then attack Iranians in Syria.

But when Iran then retaliate, the Iranians are in the wrong?

Israel are like that kid at a water fight that has 50 water balloons, but then shouts that their mam won't allow them to get wet.

    (I’m going to regret this)

Do you think Israel has not faced any attacks since 7th October?

  6. I’ve told you.  He said women were already getting raped (in American) prisons. He even posted the stats.

    Hope this helps

    1) People are stealing from this shop

    2) Some of the people stealing are employees but they’ve not necessarily been caught

    3) We are going to ask a load of convicted shoplifters to to visit our shop but the main focus should be the employees

    4) Perhaps the correct answer is to fuck off the light fingered employees and not invite the shoplifters in.

Gonna take a wild swing and suggest that this report came down on your side of the argument?

No more than a report into the fact that say the Covid vaccine was effective.  The evidence has been evaluated and dissected. The quality of evidence on both sides has been exposed and the deliberate obstruction of one side has been clear to see.

Now if we were in the Covid thread how would you react to the evidence being overwhelming?  Unless your view was ideological you’d admit you were wrong wouldn’t you?

This review was led by a senior paediatrician, the results backed by the BMJ.

Now, remember the ones who advocated for kids being sterilised and men in womens prisons.

  8. I think the take away for all the people who ignored science and common sense on this issue is that you did it because you thought you were ‘right’.   You were willing to see children be castrated on that basis.

Moment of reflection for all those nonce enablers. You know who you are…

Giving a child a drug that will impact on brain development, hugely impact their bone density and put them on a pathway to a life of medication is never the correct decision.  There is no evidence that PBs have any positive outcomes and the one flawed study cited to offer a

positive spin has been discredited and the protocol withdrawn.

I'm always struck by agression often shown from the pro transgender movement.

Most of the 'anti trans' voices aren't killing people, getting them excluded from pubs or setting fire to houses it would seem, they're retweeting things by Margaret Atwood, doing a stand up routine or saying they'd like to be able to take a shit in a train station in peace.

The reaction to it then seems to go straight to Defcon 1 with the spamming of publishing houses/universities, demands for job losses, demands for sponsorship cancellations, claims that their tweets are 'literally' killing people, that people are threatening suicide and so forth. If said target is punished in some way, it's then subject to a second phase of celebratory flaming.

The LGB alliance are currently getting an earful because they've been given a lottery grant for a helpline. The lottery is of course being flamed too. Owen Jones of course leading the charge.

Always seems a bit, I dunno, disproportionate. Almost like a sizeable chunk of these people are absolutely mental.

The idea that it's some kind of modern social justice movement is bonkers IMO and cheapens the fights which have gone before. Black people were and are being killed for being black, gay people were given electric shock therapy. Meanwhile, a hairy biker is fighting the good fight to be allowed to have a piss next to a little girl.

    What changed?

Hes a scientist specialising in ethics is sports.  After the Forstater case his views are protected so if he does get fired the OU is in trouble.  He knows what he’s doing.  I think he was also part of the panel that led to world rugby banning TW from womens rugby. They concluded you could have fairness and safety or inclusion. Not all three. And yet still…

    Nope.

You're a fundamentalist about Q.1, so it's not worth trying to engage with you on anything to do with the subject of trans rights. I've long since learned that; it's why I don't come into this thread very often. But the last couple of times I've been here, it's clear that you're becoming increasingly unhinged - even to the point of throwing snide allegations of child sexual abuse at some celebrity drag queen and pretending that paedos are putting frocks on to avoid prison.

It’s child abuse. But remember I’m some kind of zealot or something.

Imagine introducing say, kidney transplants and not following up on how the transplantees were doing, then claiming they were amazing.  Then imagine a whole group of people fawning all over them and calling anyone questioning it a bigot?

    Just doing some research.
