I hope youse like em.

  14. Trying that with my teething, poorly 4 month old tonight. Do I need to gargle with a Japanese accent though?
  15. Thanks everyone! If anyone's interested, I've just put a load more new 'Liverpool:Then and Now's up on my Flickrstream... From 1886 onwards, mainly town but also Allerton, Mossley Hill, Bootle, Litherland, Seaforth and Waterloo this week. Liverpool Then and Now - a set on Flickr I hope they're some interest to youse!
  16. Thanks all! Been busy with it this week, but enjoying doing it very much. This week, I are mostly been photographin' a few around town, but most are actually from around the suburbs - West Derby, Allerton, Childwall, Gateacre, Toxteth, Wavertree, Aigburth, Tuebrook, Anfield, Walton etc etc. Do feel free to have a gander at them on my Flickr page here, if you're at all interested in that sort of shenanigan. Liverpool Then and Now - a set on Flickr
  17. Apparently they were moving for a circus Code 72. They got to Liverpool by train, but then walked from Lime St to 'a farm somewhere near Toxteth' (?) to stay, while in the area. Sounded a bit weird when I read that, but my father in law saw the pic and straight away reckons he saw them walking past by where he lived at the time!
  18. Thank you A Red I've actually got a bunch of old Aigburth photos to 'do', but don't often get down that way of late - most of these ones I've done are partly because they're within a lunchtime walk from work! I'm aiming to get out of town to do more suburby, pubs and dock ones on my next batch so will lob them up here when I do! Cheers all.
  19. Don't know if youse are interested, but the last couple of weeks I've been taking old postcards and photos from around the city, going from the 1880s mainly up to about 1960, then trying to recreate the shot and put them together, to see how things have changed, or in some cases hardly changed at all. Anyway, if anyone likes that sort of thing, I've got a bunch of them, here... I know I should delete the ones around a certain postcode of the city for the GF, but they're very much a minority (3 or 4 out of 120ish) so I'm hoping they sneak through! 20. My effort as 'James Boned' today. Halloween Shenanigans by Keithjones84, on Flickr
  21. Made mine today, skeleton suit under a tuxedo, skull mask, bow tie and pistol. Topically, for me, I'm going to be James Boned.
  22. Seen all of both series now - watched up to where the telly is up to but then couldn't wait another week to see the next episode so downloaded the rest of the series and was glued to it! Fantastic drama, and ended tremendously. Heartily recommended!
  23. No that's not series 1 guv. That's the film of the same name, with the same characters, that came out in 2005 and gave them the idea to do the series in 2008...
  24. Series 1 had subtitles when shown on telly, but the Dvd was only released in Italian without subs. I'd say no chance of following it without subtitles. So as ilyavich says, whatever you do, don't download it from Bittorrent or EZTV. It's illegal and immoral and reprehensible behaviour.
  25. Anyone watched any of it? True story about a smalltime gang in Rome rising up from 1977 to the 90s. Like an Italian cross between The Sopranos and Life on Mars. Shit hair, meffy clothes, brutal stabbings, sensational women, and epidemic gesticulating of hands. Great stuff though. Been on Sky Arts but series 1 has never been released with English subtitles, series 2 has though, which is a bit wacky. Anyway, saw first two of series 2 and immediately downloaded all of series 1 to start from the beginning - now about 8 episodes in, after about four days. Daniela Virgilio as Patrizia the 'ho, is quite something. Anyone into it? .
