I thought he was ok, nothing special, he worked hard and did a few simple things right but he is too slow when tracking back.
He wasn't brave on the ball always looking to offload it to either milner or TAA.
I'm not saying he was bad I just not going to go overboard on an ok performance. As to the best player on the pitch that goes to Diaz, not just for the goal but for his all round game.

He's had 2 games at Anfield, I'll be judging him on the other one, where he was confident, settled and ice cold in his mind. Last night he was a bag of nerves, he literally didn't kick the ball properly all night, Harry Maguire would have looked a better striker than him. He lost the rag, no big deal. We move on.
The thing is it is a big deal, he is going to get that even more every time he takes the field just because of his reaction last night, also every little touch they will be going down complaining and looking to get him booked or sent off again.
It was fucking idiotic and will make it harder for himself in the short term.

They're fuming online about the appointment of Benni McCarthy as striking coach.
'You can't have the greatest ever player being coached by this guy'
It's funny to watch, I'm glad to see that no common sense and reasoninghas been brought into it, I mean you could argue that we have the best goalie in the world being coached by a man whose highest point of his career was playing for Trannmere.
Popcorn time continues this season I think.
Probably the same mental gymnastics TLW did with Atcheberg. If the manager has appointed him or has said to keep him then you have to trust the manager otherwise what's the point of having the manager there if.ypu don't trust their decisions.
They really are carbon copies of us during out darker days.

We have spent £120 million on Diaz and Nunez for the attack in the last two windows.
Not sure what more you really want there to cover Mane leaving. That's a bit disingenuous, that figure only gets there if we win the lot, if that's the case then it's paid for itself.

If Ramsey is deemed not ready and we want a different dimension in our midfield and PL proven you could do a lot worse than James Maddison IMO. His numbers are very good, and a threat from distance too.
Fucking hell no, at 25 overpriced and still too inconsistent. Struggles to stay in that Leicester team for long periods.
If the answer is Maddison the the question is who is a bigger cunt than vardy in the Leicester squad.

A regular run is what Jones needs most at that point in his career, a season-long loan at Villa would be a great move for him I reckon. I’d even consider selling him with a buy back option set at say £25m, to further incentivise Villa to play him every week.
The thing I was getting at was why buy Jacob Ramsey when jones is already a better player and struggles to get game time. As for being loaned, that seems to be a bit of a kisss of death where our players are concerned.
Only really Elliott that has gone on loan and properly come back into the fold. Origi ended up back on the fold because he was so bad out.on loan nobody wanted him at our valuation.

The goal at 2min40s is pretty special to be fair. Doubt we’ll sign him at the prices quoted, but if we do Klopp and the recruitment team must be convinced by him and that’s good enough for me.
I'm not seeing anything there that Jones couldn't do in that league.

Get Jacob Ramsey in and send Jones on loan the other way. Win win.
Why do you think Ramsey would be better than Jones?

Yeah it's never been the done thing for one reason of another. Definitely plenty of talent in those leagues but no English club has ever consistently dipped their toes into that market.
Isn't it mainly because there are alot of 3rd party ownership of players and the PL won't let clubs enter in to those agreements.

Chatting to my future brother in law last week (he supports utd) and he feels that next season they have to get top 4, I said surely adopting a style of play that the players can get behind should be minimal expectation, he looked at me as though I had just spoken Chinese and reiterated that top 4 is the minimum.
If that's the mentality that they want to take then let's all get behind Ten Hag getting binned around Feb and bringing in Old slag fucker.

I like his comment of “our strategy isn’t working” last night.
I’d like to hear the definition of this and how it compares to our competitors.
Our competitors go with a not winning anything strategy, seems to be working for them.

You were the one throwing the word cunt at Suarez when you haven’t even read the report that was produced.Take the report out of it, he was a cunt, he was our cunt and we loved every bit of the mad genius. From pulling Rafaels hair to the biting to the deliberate diving, his will to win exceeded his moral compass which led him to doing things others wouldn't normally do,

If they don't outspend every other team, win every trophy every single year, develop the other two sides of the stadium, and make the tickets free, then what are they really good for?

Looks like we are signing one of the best young strikers in World Football, that's got to be pissing off a few on here Clive.
I'll be even more pissed if we sign a world class midfielder to go along with Darwin.

I’m not necessarily proud that I did the maths on that one.
I rounded to the nearest 10%. I cant be a slave to exactism.
That last sentence may be about just under 20% racist.
