  1. Also Sky Sports etc will make a big deal about Broughton not being declaratory on NESV bid being the one they will go for. He needs to make it look like all options will be discussed at board meeting as that's what Hicks and Gillett were arguing. From everything that has been said and written it seems the deal with NESV was already signed and completed pending the result of the court case.

think its just a case of Broughton being politically correct and not leaving anything open for G+H to pick more holes in

  2. Fair point Andy, it is a bit sad when you put it like that. Stating a fact however, my ****. A fact is unarguable my friend. It invites a spectrum of reactions from astonishment to impassive agreement. Not opposition. That is opinion dancing in the fact discotheque. And it's chucking out time!

my comments were more tounge in cheek (or was supposed to be) but its late and im knackered lol

yeah i know all about lfc online and i give it a wide birth partly because most of what is said on there is taken either from rumours sites or copied off other sites like this or just made up

and yeah if u are kissing the arse off the mods there u can say what i like but if u aint then its best to say nothing....but even then u aint safe lol

  3. Andy, please. Get a life? This isn't 1954 and I shan't be insulted by it. Futile attempt. Epic fail.

wasnt and insult just merely stating a fact

coming onto another this forum to moan about how another fourm is run is a tad on the no life side but a simple answer would be to stay away from lfc online......

  4. No, it's a different Liverpool forum. It has nothing to do with this one. Thought perhaps some ppl here might use it or know of it. My meaning is clear: I disagree with censorship of opinion and abuse being perpetrated my the admins! It's just not on! For the whole scouse not English thing, I read it as a superiority issue and it winds me up!

in all fairness mate if u post shit like this on any forum then u leave yourself well open to it!!

  5. even though i said before i thought it would be a bad idea i warming to it i really think he can do the job.i mean lets face it fulham are not brimming with talent and look what he did with them last year

try and look on the brightside of life lads

  6. I think the letter is pretty ok it gives as much clarity as they are legally entitled to do.

What the letter doesnt say is what happens when the owners refuse to sanction the sale at what the banks thinks is a fair price, what action if any do they take then.

was just thinking the same nick perhaps thats a question for the next round of e-mails

  7. He's not my first choice either, but if he's appointed, he's gonna have my full support. You need to do likewise. How about giving him a chance? Seriously think he can do any worse than what Rafa achieved, or should I say not achieved last season. At the very least, we should finally have a team playing to it's strengths and have an actual gameplan.

Ok, I'm gonna play along here. Name me another top class manager (not Kenny) who will come to us in our current situation?

Last time I checked it was only Sven who has thrown his name in the hat.

yeah sad to say it sven is the only other manager that has thrown his hat into the ring....my main concern is the fact that roy is 62 ok i know some say age aint everything but the way i see it is perhaps a younger manager with fresh ideas and attacking football and not afraid to show some passion on the touchline.I just think Hodgsons football style is pretty much the same as rafa's was and if im honest it was them tatics that cost us 4th place last year not injurys beachballs etc. i mean 7 points we missed it by and i can think of 3 games off the top of my head that we should have won but lost of drew because we sat back and didnt play (pompey, stoke, hull) all away games if memory serves me well.

whoever the manager is i will support them like i said i dont have to agree with them but i will back them anyway

  8. He's gonna be the new manager so support him or just fuck off.

thats the sort of answer id expect from a narrow minded fuckwit so im suprised it came from someone who makes some good posts on this forum !!

its my opinion i refuse to set standards as low as good old roy i think even in our situation we can do better whats wrong with that? If push came to shove then yeah id support him but it does not mean id have to agree with him being manager or even deserve to be liverpool manager and over the 35 years ive supported LFC its safe to say there are a few managers i have not agreed with.

  9. i was not pro rafa or anti rafa but looking at the big pictureof it he had to go.

i think towards the end he had lost the players and divided the fans and his ego had become alittle big i mean come on he knew how to play the fan card didnt he? lets face it if he was here for the love of the club and fans he would have walked away without the 6 million tucked in his back pocket, he has more in his bank account to spend than the club does!!

we need a manager that will use all the players to there strengths and play them where they are supposed to play and if things are not going well for a player have a heart to heart and not just bench em

we need a manager that shows emotion on the touchline not just sit there writing a novel for the half time teamtalk and a manager that will not wait till the 67th min to change something if it needs changing sooner or to leave things well alone when it dosnt need changing

who? i really dont know. something tells me Martin o'neil dont know what it is perhaps its the fact that most of the managers we have been linked with are nearing there late 50s to mid 60s and we need something long term and dont need to become a west ham and change our manager every year .

  10. While 90% of the fans might have been drawn in, they had no access to the facts nor the responsibility he had to the club. It was his decision and you cannot make pathetic excuses like that.

pathetic excuse? tell me if ive read things wrong but didnt moores have it in writing that he had promises that the ground would get sorted and the debt wouldnt be againt the club. What more could you ask for dave?

yes i was 1 of those fans that got sucked in yes moores had more access and we all wish he had said hang on give me a few more days to checkout this hicks fellow. yeah perhaps we wouldnt be in this shit but then again we might have

i have been a liverpool fan for over 35 years and can understand the fact we all have an opinion on what has happened to the club we love so much but lets not lose sight of the fact its not just about 1 man there was a board at the time they was just as eager to sell as moores was

  11. This isn't some little error here, this is our club being destroyed by some cancers. We're on the brink of administration here if it gets much worse. We could be flung into obscurity for years.

You speak as if it's an easy mistake to make, oh poor old davey, he's only gone and sold the club to two cancerous leeches who will bleed it dry and destroy it. Ah well what's he like, the dopey old bugger, live and let live eh?

Hindsight is not an excuse he gets, it was HIS responsibility to ensure that the club was going to the right new owners. He didn't do that, (by his own admission) and I'm certainly not going to cut the cunt any slack for he mess he has put us in. For the people thinking the extra millions made no difference to his choice, well it certainly sped up the decision didn't it?

Even less likely to cut him slack after that letter that does more to ease his conscience than anything else. I hope him, Coco and those two twats rot in hell.

no what i was trying to say was in hindsight he wishes he had done things better and nobody can say they aint had that in there own life

yes it was his responsibilty to make sure the club went to the right and proper people but what i saying is he got sucked in by the crap he was given to a degree 90% of fans did .It may sound like im defending him but im trying to look at both sides of the fence.Yes he was wrong but if they hadnt put the debt on the club and built the new ground would we be debating this now? no we wouldnt.

  12. Which is fine but can you explain the previous 16 years inactivity & incompetence which has seen Utd reel us in?

nope i cant because in them days everything was done the proper way behind closed doors and not aired in puplic so i would think it would be hard for anyone to comment on that unless we get into the guessing game

  13. yeah moores fucked up on a huge scale but aint hindsight a wonderful thing!! Lets face it we all wish we had delt with some things better at some point in our lifes.Give the bloke a little break here everyone has called for him to come out and give his side and he has.People are still not happy why?did it not say what you wanted to hear??

H&G have lied to Moores to us the fans and well everyone connected to them and LFC!! we have all been taken for a ride not just Moores lets not forget them sitting in that press conference telling us about the spade in the ground and the debt wouldnt be put on the club etc.

But 1 question id love to see moores answer is if he had all this in writing/contract and it carrys any weight why not use it to hold them to task over there promises??

  14. 1 thing i have not seen mentioned the fact of it is it dont matter how much money Mourinho has had he still as to get the players to gel and work together with his tatics i mean come on who would have thought you would ever see eto tracking back??

yes he is a quality manager and his record speaks for itself but id have very mixed feelings if he did ever come to liverpool

  15. Definitely smells of fallout from the Purslow minutes episode.

I agree and like i said then and i'll say it now it wasnt handled well by SOS and i have to say if any of us were treated in that manner we would act the same.i think the saying is once bitten twice shy would sum it up in a nut shell.

at the end of day let the bloke do his job less distractions the sooner we can get rid of H+G (we hope)
