  1. Yeah. I said at the time that Nasri's goal against Sunderland could be decisive, and I still fear it will be. Mourinho would get just as much pleasure from ending our title hopes as he would reaching the CL final - that's the type of character he is. If we fail to beat Chelsea - even if we get a point - Palace aren't the best team to face after a setback.
  2. They need a pompous new title...Professor of Football Philosophy, maybe.
  3. City will annihilate them. They're still favourites for the league as far as I'm concerned, and I don't see any realistic chance that they'll drop more points this season. If we beat Chelsea, we're favourites, but until then, nah.
  4. There's very little chance of us securing three points here - A tepid, soul-destroying grind to victory for Chelsea followed by a lap down the touchline for Mourinho, who reclaims his throne as the nation's managerial media darling.
  5. I agree, although I think that was dramatically exacerbated by Sturridge's absence. If Allen for Henderson was the only change necessary, I think we may have coped better.
  6. We've received our share of highly dubious decisions, but then so have they. There's been nothing as blatant as West Ham's goal against us, or the assistant's gift to City at the Etihad. Have they commented on the two straight red cards Norwich players should have seen today?
  7. Thank fuck. But we need to improve to stand a chance against Chelsea. On the upside, it will be the first time in a while we've played a team whose main aim probably won't be the league.
  8. It'll be okay if we get this title. If not, then I doubt my body will stand up to it.
  9. Van Woolfswinkle will equalise or win it, nailed on.
  10. Should have been another red there. We could really do with a nine-man Norwich to run up the goal difference.
  11. That's inevitable given his history of ACL problems. You seldom get quite the same athlete back, even if they can still cope at a relatively high level.
  12. Reminds me of the early season 1st / 2nd half dichotomy. I thought we'd gotten rid of that, but it's been back with a vengeance over the last two games.
  13. Awful. They'll get at least a point now. We'll have to win the remaining three.
  14. It should be too good, though I think all the pieces are in place for a Norwich win. A gritty draw would be a fine result today.
  15. I can't deal with this yet. It's going to take a title to break the psychological ice, because I'm expecting us to lose and therefore exit the title race at Norwich. No way City will let it slide after that.
  16. As I said earlier, even though there's little chance of them winning the league, the game next week will be his biggest priority now, with the CL a distant second. He wants to be the centre of attention, and the best way to do that is to stop us winning the title so that he can run the length of the Anfield touchline and launch into some sort of bitter missive about 2005 which will then be held up as proof of his genius by a willing media.
  17. One thing's for sure, if Sunderland inflict defeat on Mourinho here, he'll be prioritising the trip to Anfield over the CL semi, purely because he's a spiteful character above all else. Expect a full-strength side and every attempt possible to influence the officials in the build-up. He'll be off down the touch line if he stops us from winning the league, considering it revenge for 2005.
