  1. I was explaining this thread to me dad last week, who’s in the CD league when it comes to culinary masterpieces. He often sends me the weird combinations he has put together with pride at what he has managed to achieve. So here is todays effort. A sea bass and vegetable in a bag meal from Iceland, on toast, with scrambled egg!!!

Is anybody else with an iPhone having issues with their NFC pass updating at the moment?

Against Leeds I got to the turnstile, my pass hadn’t updated from Man City. It wouldn’t scan the green ST by, but when I looked for the QR code and scanned that, it was fine.

I couldn’t make Napoli, none of my F&F wanted it, you can’t do ticket exchange for Cup games, so I arranged with a friend I’d send him the QR code for the game.

My pass updated but when I clicked for the QR code, there was nothing there.

Derby is the same. I can’t make it, no F&F want it, no exchange and no QR behind it.

I have an iPhone 11. All software is up to date, all NFC notifications are set to auto, so I’m a bit lost.

    Any suggestions?

I’ve taken to manually refreshing mine, so if you go on the ticket in the apple wallet and click so you can see the QR code then pull down the screen from the top so that it refreshes that has been updating mine, but I’m only game by game with people sending me tickets.

I’ve also heard of a few people having issues with their tickets after they’ve screenshotted them to other people. There was a rumour that the club were freezing peoples tickets and could detect when it had been done, which sounds a bit far fetched to me but I wouldn’t put it past the cunts

  3. I admire your faith in him Stig, and he undoubtedly took his goal well but I thought he was absolutely rank today. Particularly in the first half. I’m not saying I’m writing him off yet but he is worrying me. He seems to anticipate very little, is on his heels all the time, makes runs that occupy the spaces of his team mates and his ability to judge the flight of a ball tonight was awful. Was saying to the lads tonight, he looked like a striker who didn’t know how to play up top.

There are definite question marks over whether he’s suitable for our style imo. Like I say I’m not ready to write him off, largely because of klopp’s record with developing players, but I reckon it’s gonna be a longer process than we hoped with him

I have to admit, I still like shit after this.

I don’t know if it’s the whole scenario of the evening or if it’s just getting beat and / or not winning the league or how we’ve started, I just feel low about it.

My situation wasn’t that bad. I was only held outside the ground for over and hour and pickpocketed. I was still inside around 8.30pm, so would have made the original kick off.

My boss said the week after Paris that struck a chord “All that stress, all the money, to be robbed, see supporters tear gassed, beaten and treated like shit…. Is it really worth it?”

I can’t get those words out my head.

I was at Fulham and then on holiday until Ajax and was just thinking through both games “I’m not enjoying this, I’m don’t care this much, I’d prefer to be at home”.

It’s part of the reason I was so annoyed at Wolves being postponed (and to an extent Chelsea but I anticipated that would happen). I’m trying to force myself through it. I’m hoping to go to every game (minus Forest & Ajax away, Rangers away is 50/50…) before the World Cup, at the moment I’m just looking forward to days on the piss with my friends and no interest in the games.

I know my Dad feels similar, as do a few lads at work who were in Paris.

Pretty much word for word how I feel mate. Only missed Napoli away this season but was already spewing Chelsea before it got called off because I just can’t muster the effort to care that much at the moment. You go to an event like that and get gassed, crushed, robbed and think this is meant to be something I enjoy. Particularly when I think the only thing left really for me to see us for us to win a league title and actually be in the ground.

Thanks for this. Not transfered any tickets this season so don't think its that. Doesn't show any expired passes in Wallet. Also tried all links and only one is the Season Ticket but when I download says I can only have it on the one device, which is the same device it was on anyway. Some strange voodoo goin on

Yeah it’s a joke, the system appears to be completely random as well so it’s not even like you can figure it out. Another lad I know went to the ticket office and it had something to do with him using the wrong web browser so maybe check that as well.

Only other thing I can think of is to make sure that all of your expired passes are deleted from your wallet and if you go on your wallet settings and there is still saying an NFC pass is downloaded, to delete that as well. And then try re-downloading from the account.

Hope you get it sorted mate.

My ST pass disappeared from Google Wallet in the last couple days even though I didn't remove it. Tried re-adding from LFC Members Account "Download NFC Pass" and it says can only be sent to one device even though its the same device. Not sure if its an LFC issue or a Google Wallet one.

    Any ideas?

Check in your archived passes in your wallet mate as a few of the lads have been cropping up in there.

I’ve also found that if they’ve been shared or transferred to people then you may have to re download the ticket, but they all crop up in different places depending on whether you’re a ST holder, actual member or just hold a ticket account. Click on the links I’ve circled in that picture and see if there is a ticket that you can click on and download. It’s an absolute farce though, about 4 lads all had tickets come to the in different ways last week

    Any idea what caused that?

About 200 of our fucking bellend contingent stormed the barriers around 45 minutes before kick off and they closed the turnstiles to stop them getting in. The backlog then couldn’t be handled properly. I watched last year as a load did it earlier and in smaller numbers but the police obviously didn’t think to put any sort of plan in place.

Not just a Liverpool thing it’s a general society thing but Nobody gives a fuck about anybody anymore it’s just absolutely ruthless. Horrible cunts. There was kids getting crushed and auld women having panic attacks and people are still just pushing trying to jib in.

What was the point of the Fring/wine scene? Was that referencing something in the BCS past or Breaking Bad future?

I had it down has him either giving himself some sort of alibi or something to do with the Germans he is wanting to build the lab that may come up down the line. But fuck knows.

I loved that episode, I didn’t expect that scenario with Kim at all and thought it was brilliant.

  9. Just been speaking to the fella in our hotel here. He was saying there that St Denis is known by all people in Paris as a place that you do not go. Said even the bizzies are scared of the locals there. When you look at some of the footage you can tell that they are not Liverpool fans. As we got gassed the second time my mate had his phone and wallet robbed. There was hundreds of them trying to bunk in. It was an absolute shit show

  10. We got to the ground at 7 o’clock and got tear gassed twice at gate A. There was loads of French trying to bunk in and we ended up scrapping with our own fans trying to bunk in as well. It was an absolute shit show, but we can’t absolve ourselves from blame. We’ve got some absolute cunts who follow us

  11. I was sat right next to them in the lower main yesterday and they were all at it with the wall pushing. They were singing a chant about Curtis Jones’s sister being a slag as well. When we scored the first, Jones shot off the bench and skipped down the line as if to start warming up and just laughed at them all the way down to the corner flag. They were all fuming it was fucking boss!

  12. Not sure if anyone else seen it last night, but there was a fan receiving CPR in the upper kemlyn down the Anfield road end prior to the game and for around the first 15 minutes. I was in the lower main and could see a number of paramedics and fans working on him.

Couldn’t find any news online this morning anywhere but it didn’t look good. Fingers crossed they managed to pull through it.

It was a very well taken goal, he’s been an excellent signing.

I think against the better teams, we play better with Bobby as he’s a presser, tackler, drops deep and can hold onto the ball better than Jota, in my opinion.

I’d agree with this, but then in the same breath I think we may have lost the game because for a few years Bobby seemed to lose the ability to score
