I'd imagine Gomez to stay left back for this one, and Trent back in as hybrid rb. And that worries me a bit.

Kid or not, I enjoyed having a tenacious right back getting up and down the line the last few games.

Yep agreed , I think they should leave him there and move Trent into midfield.

Alonso is the only other manager I can be reasonable happy with.

I knew this day would come one day, but certainly not now, fuck me, words cant describe how gutted I am.

I could also take Guardiola, when City get relegated at the end of the season.

Jesus man , you have no soul.

Absolutely gutted, feel as bad now as when Kenny stepped down, only I’m 53 now & thought I’d be able to handle something like this better. I can’t. Things will never be the same again. What a fucking ride we’ve had. I just can’t see anyone getting out of this team what he does.

I'm 56 and remember when kenny announced his leaving, my dear old mother broke the news to me . She was as gutted as me and she was on chemo at the time bless her .

    Stupid fuckin game !

They didn't let them off though, they were just not thorough enough and City's lawyers found a loophole so UEFA couldn't do anything about it. City were never proven innocent despite the attempts by Guardiola and others to get that out there. CAS basically said "yeah you're guilty as fuck but the evidence is over 5 years old and UEFA's own rules mean that can't be used."

How incapable could a team of lawyers actually be to miss a "loophole" like that though?

You'd expect a YTS trainee to spot that one a mile off

Do it if you can. Something for everyone here. Galicia, Córdoba and Tenerife could be three different countries. The variety in landscape, food, character of people, etc, is something else.

You'll earn less, but you'll live better. They still have a functioning health care system, school system, and transport system, and you'll be able to eat out twice a week if you want to.

Very tempting, unfortunately my wife can't attach herself to any Irish passport and , to be honest doesn't like me very much anyway!

If Madrid was near the sea I’d move there yesterday. Amazing city.

I love Málaga city myself, lovely to walk around and right on the coast. Been to Madrid as well and it is lovely, Jerez also nice

When I first moved there six years ago I taught English as a second language, the route for most people to move to Spain for work. Now my job is a little different/better. I still teach a bit but more of my time is spent managing E-learning platforms. This stuff grew enormously at the start of the pandemic, everyone was home and wanted to sign up for courses in various things.

I was quite lucky with my timing as I managed to get residency and change my driving licence etc just before Brexit made everything a million times worse. We weren't so lucky sorting out coming back to the UK for these two years, as my Spanish girlfriend was essentially treated like a fucking criminal by our government.

Lucky man , I read a few horror stories about Spaniards travelling in/out of the UK after Brexit, like the fucking guistapo.

I've been toying with the idea of an Irish passport as my grandparents were from Kilkenny. Not sure how easy it would be though as they've been dead for donkeys years.

    Spain's fuckin ace

Nah, it's where I live normally. I'm only back in the UK (near Cardiff) for two years (finishes in September) as my missus has a contract as a researcher at the University.

Cool , what do you do for a living out there, if you don't mind me asking?

I'm only here for a few days to sort some stuff out at my house. I've basically felt a bit ill for about five months just waking up every day and it being about seven degrees and raining or about minus three and not raining. Got here on Saturday night, went for a long walk on Sunday, 18/19 degrees, not a cloud in the sky. It's fucking medicine, mate.

Is this a holiday home you have?

Take the keepers out of it and saying Jones and Szobo are currently out then senior 1st teamers are:

    Gomez

    VVD

    Quansah

    Konate

    Mac Allister

    Elliott

    Gravenberch

    Diaz

    Nunez

    Gakpo

    Jota

    That is 11...

The rest come under the kids category - i'll give you Bradley and call it 12 - which is what i said originally.

I'd be surprised if Ramsay was an option as we need to get him out on loan - I covered Phillips in original post - personally think he should go on loan again and we won't use him anyway.

Not saying those kids can't do a job v Norwich or even if called on in league but for me they are kids and that is what i meant originally - rotation can only mean bringing in kids at present. Hopefully there are bodies on way back - it is a lot of games in a short period of time and a really crucial time with a couple of tough league games - Arsenal away speak for itself and regardless of how much of a mess Chelsea are, we always find it hard against them and they have improved of late.

Not saying we are fucked and yesterday I said we'll win league, but we are stretched at present IMO to a point where we really can't be stretched any further squad wise.

I'm surprised we haven't recalled Morton from Hull given how stretched we are .

I have to be honest I didn't give him a hope in hell of making it here , but he seems a decent player now he's got some games under his belt.

Feigned an injury so he could not play for his country where he is idolized and revered as a national treasure because the national team may not win the continental tournament? he would really have to be a cunt of the first order to do that.

    Works for me .

I think it will be something like this, if Szoboszlai is fit. If he isn't, Elliott will start and one of the forwards would probably come in.

    Kelleher

    Gomez Quansah VVD Beck

    Szoboszlai MacAllister Gravenberch

    Elliott Gakpo Diaz

Subs: Allisson Konate Bradley Jones Jota Nunez

I'd bin Elliot from the starting line up personally, as has been said he just doesn't offer enough from the off.

Diaz and Darwin are so brainless at times, it's unbelievable. If we have to rely on them at some point because there are long term absences with the other forwards, we're in trouble.

Meanwhile Gakpo who is a fat better player ,sits on the bench twiddling his thumbs.

Nunez should be used as a impact sub until he improves.

Her sister’s visiting with her husband and kids. The ones that I look forward to seeing these days, which is a total flip from when it used to be the other sister.

Polished off my last third of a litre of Disaranno from 3-5pm when nobody else was drinking, went out for tea and made solid progress through the cocktail menu. Boss time had by all. Got home, got one kid in bed after staying up ‘til 3am last night, all the others are over the road at the in-laws.

    I’ve just smoked a joint.

I am a little bit mashed.
