In other news Sangakara scored 319 and went past 11000 test runs (average 57)
Well played fella
I have learnt abit more about Cook the person - he is a private school twat with no fight - he needs binning off ASAP
KP - some great innings but on the drift - but England have set a precedent for under performing older players
He is looking at you Prior, Anderson, Bresnan and Bell

People act if this was his first defeat as England coach
I remember England being gutted by Pakistan 3 - 0 and SA at home 2 - 0 (embarrassing and was mainly ignored due to the KP textgate)
Broad is a good choice for captain and the beating in the One days and T20's means it is alot less likely Giles gets the job
I imagine the bowling coach is finished (RE; what happened to Finn) and so to Gooch
England need to move swiftly as Duncan Fletcher just lost the ODI series 0 - 4 India vs NZ and he is likely for the chop soon ( and hence there will be competition for the position)
Is Jason Gillespie any good at Yorkshire?
-
I'd like to coach of Notts or otherwise Tom Moody or Stephen Fleming
The ECB has the money
Wonder if Cooks next?
-
Andy Flower gone:
Someone had to be held accountable for this disaster of a tour.
Yes yes yes
-
Is that the sound of a barrel being scraped ?
If Ravi had another over...
-
Come on Ravi
-
This is a massacre - 185/3 with two overs to go
-
I HATE DERNBACH
-
Feeling sorry now for England and Cook
Another one of uber master Flowers' mistakes - preventing the England players actually taking part in the IPL and hence learning new skills
Case in point - Faulkner
I am not sure what the odds are for the World Cup next year - but the Aussies are defo worth a punt
In fact after steam rolling England they might do well in the T20 World Cup in Bangladesh
England are very unlikely to get out of their group in T20 World Cup
-
I think 6 hours my normal - but I love to have 8hrs a night
Due to shift work I can go a day with out sleep though (wouldnt recommend it)
I think 4 hours is a minimum
-
Episode 2 is good
Lots of new characters people would recognise..

8 new players in the T20 squad for the world cup
Interestingly Giles has decided to support KP
-
Not sure too much can be read into the match
-
Root got 1 run off 14 balls
Mmmm
-
Not bad
Good twist at the end
-
In other news, Sri Lanka beat Pakistan
England should look at Graeme Ford (SL coach going to Surrey) - good coach, gets on with KP and is good for team unity and bringing through young players
-
Probably need to bring a spinner in
Is there anyone who could replace Root?
I would drop Rankin an Bresnan
-
Could be Rankin last international appearance for England (back to Ireland?)
-
Mystery spinner coming on for England
Money is on hundred for both England Openers
If England get thrashed - will Giles get fired (pleased)
-
Rankin bowling horribly
-
Cook already messed up - removing 2nd slip too early
Finch been dropped already
Looks like another Aussie victory imo
-
Next captain will be Prior I think. Then Broad
By that time they'll have groomed the appropriate batsmen to do the job
-
KP will quit but I think the Flower and Cook axis is finished and I have loss a lot of respect for Cook
India had a good chance of victory in the summer and I think if that happens they'll be some big changes
These next 6 months of one days give a chance to Hales, Robson (hopefully), Woakea, Tredwell, Butler, Morgan, Bopara and Jordan. It looks like Overton is being groomed to be the next Finn and Finn will hopefully comeback

I think him being Englands best player says a lot about the state of English cricket
He had become laughably bad against left arm spinners but what he isn't is a pussy. Johnson made all the England batsmen including Cook and Bell shit themselves - but not KP
He will be missed but like Flintoff the team ultimately might become better
But thinking Root can replace him is fallacy
The tour for England A against Sri Lanka will be key - need three batsmen, keeper a spinner and a fast bowler to put their hand up
Indian aren't performing well in NZ so in all likelihood England should be dominant this summer but I am not convinced with Cook at the helm
