Mostly in London and the Paris Island (Basic Training section of the film) was set at ATR Bassingborn in Cambridge. Everytime you go in that place your constantly reminded of it. Did you know R. Lee Ermey's bits were all improvised? Some of the insults he comes out with are fucking classics as well as his famous quaotes regarding his beloved Marine Corps, one of which inhabits my signature space..
