What part of it was shite? We would of been better signing a player thats used to the english game. Bellamy and Pennant are doing the same training and are performing consistantly better. He did retire cause he got caught shagging. As far as I can see, None of it. Im not saying he wont come good Im just saying hes been totally shit so far. So ill stick to football ta. Im not writing mark gonzales off at all im just saying so far hes been playing like an amateur league player and he has been at the swiss training ground doing the exact same regime as Bellamy. Only difference is Bellamy is used to the English style of play same with Pennant and both of them have not been heavy legged making mistakes or playing shite. In fact they have been anything but unimpressive. I agree with this quote we would of been better signing someone thats used to the english game, thats played against liverpool, knows how to play against the teams liverpool are gonna play against instead of signing some cocky pretty boy chilean with an ego big enough to retire from his international career at 21 because he was caught banging one of my fellow native birds in Dublin.

I've seen some of this player playing in the spanish league. He looked pretty good in my honest opinion I think once he hits form he will be worth more to the liverpool left hand side than Harry Kewell ever has although after watchin the pre season friendlies hes done anything but impress me in the slightest. I don't know wether to be worried that liverpool have signed another flop that isnt going to adopt to our style of play but I find it really daunting that just two games into a friendly pre season Rafa Benitez is already making excuses for the players form. He has shown nothing at all in the pre season games against below par clubs I barely seen him take on a player against Kaiserslauten and every cross he delivered into the box was nothing short of dreadful. I sincerly hope he improoves and if possible I'd like to see some furthur footage of the player so please if anyone knows any links or has any videos to show me if the hype is matching the player i've seen so far please prove me wrong because I cant bare to see another Harry Kewell style useless winger. Jermain Pennant on the other hand has deeply impressed me but I have always been a keen admirer of him and I think he was the perfect signing to keep Steven Gerard playing in the middle but still give us the width we have been depressingly lacking in the past couple of seasons, This is my first post and hello to the other members of the forum :)
