  1. When Agger, Skrtel and Aurellio return we will have a very strong back line with ample of back up.

We saw last season how we have some of the best defenders going. That hasnt change. Just some fine tuning required and we are set.

Also Kyrgiakos was godo yesterday and a welcome addition to the squad.

We can and we will play better.

do you mean he was like someone out of "lord of the rings"??

  2. Sunderland boss Steve Bruce is ready to offer Craig Bellamy a dramatic return to the North East.

The 30-year-old former Newcastle forward joined Manchester City from West Ham for £14million in January, but with Emmanuel Adebayor ready to follow Carlos Tevez and Roque Santa Cruz to Eastlands, Bellamy's days look numbered.

would you take him as a backup striker?

in a heartbeat (if he could get fit).

  3. It used to make me laugh that their wingers were scrambling to get in the side whilst gomes was as safe as houses with petit challenging him a bit but no one could work out who to play as they both never scored!

    pauletta???

  4. i ordered spain confederations cup shirt (torres 9), barcelona home (messi 10) and new liverpool away shirt last monday. they all arrived yesterday. spain and barcelona are spot on,quality, even got the adidas trefoil badge on spain shirt. the liverpool shirt isn't as good though, bit baggy round the neck. it'll do for footie training. order came to £46. shirts with name and number = £12. plain shirt=£8 and postage =£14.

  5. Glen Johnson would be a major improvement on Arbeloa, whom I don´t rate one bit. We would suddenly have a right back in the team with a bit of self-belief and one that can get past players.

Lavezzi is a player I haven´t watched on enough occasion to make a real judgement. But his dribbling and work rate is out of this world and any player that Rafa wants to splash the cash on is a good player.

Gareth Barry is not a worse player than Xabi Alonso, certainly not. Barry´s passing is better and his deliveries into the box are WAY better. Xabi however could be one of the finest ball-winners out there and he is great at pressing. But if we want to take our attacking play to yet another level then I´d say get Barry in.

I think that should this happen, our first eleven would improve dramatically, as would our strength in depth.

    are you taking the piss?

  6. Sadly the record books will show why they've won the league, won the most ammount of games, top scorer is one of theres, top of the assist league is Berbatov.

We all know it's different though.

is that bit about berbatov right?

how many assists did he get?

  7. if ronaldo leaves, utd become weaker no matter who they bring in. as has been said already, nobody is going to come in and score 30+ goals and make 20+ assists. who's to say ribery wouldn't be a flop.the premier league is a different kettle of fish from the french and german leagues.

the day that greasy bastard leaves old trafford will be a good day for us as far as i'm concerned.

  8. Couldn't give a flying fuck about how successful he's been. "Credit where it's due?" Fuck that. I hope he dies a horrible slow death.

Edit - I'll expect another wanking thread from you if they retain the trophy Chris. And another if they retain the league. It'll be fucking galling but hey, credit where it's due eh?

    amen to that brother.

  9. fair play to all the "believe" talk but come on,who seriously thinks we're going through tonight?? how come we're suddenly going to go and twat at least 3 past chelsea at stamford bridge? kelly dalglish was saying on tv this morning that statistically we've got a 3 per cent chance of progressing. that makes us a 33/1 shot. you dont often get 33/1 winners in football...

i'm not trying to be a doom monger but i cant believe how many people (across all lfc websites) think we'll do it.
