They have trampled on local rights and protected buildings etc. The rush for cash has allowed developers to do whatever they want and have even been allowed to build in heritage protected areas. There is supposed to be affordable housing with every development but it is a farce. Both the Manchester and Salford Councils have bent over for developers for the last 10 years and the people of the area have gotten very little out of it
