While I'm having a moan, folk in my office were pissing themselves laughing at me yesterday because I went on a rant about how they're called films, picture houses, series & programmes.
Gimps.
If they use the word season instead of series they should be gassed like badgers

I heard someone at my work complaining that "There's 15 straight minutes of some men talking in an office." in this film.
People are fucking morons.
It is a proper old fashioned "talkie" in the truest sense of the word

Oppenheimer is outst
6 hours ago, Mudface said:Oppenheimer 9.5/10. Absolutely fantastic film. 3 hours wasn't long enough, it was superb. This is what I used to go to the cinema week after week for. Stick your CGI and your franchises up your hole.
Yep truly outstanding. For me Nolan's best film since Memento

Liverpool is miles behind a lot of cities in England. Manchester are always building offices and city centre living. Their council welcome investment and work with developers. Here the councillors seem to despise developers who would make a profit. There is a development near Princes Dock that had to jump through hoops to get their plans through and then they faced a lengthy legal battle against a couple of residents which was actively supported by a local Councillor.
The company that built the Unity building behind the Atlantic tower hotel said they would never invest in Liverpool again due to the interference of the council with the design and height if it. Yet they approve the most bland and shite buildings elsewhere.
You need to speak to the residents of Greater Manchester. They hate what has happened to Manchester. The property developers have destroyed the soul of the city. They have trampled on local rights and protected buildings etc. The rush for cash has allowed developers to do whatever they want and have even been allowed to build in heritage protected areas. There is supposed to be affordable housing with every development but it is a farce. Both the Manchester and Salford Councils have bent over for developers for the last 10 years and the people of the area have gotten very little out of it

Too young to see him play at his peak. Can only remember him at the very end of his career. Was he that good and did he fulfil the promise that made him the first million pound footballer?
Nope. He had a good career but never fulfilled his natural brilliance due to injuries and poor choice of clubs to join.
Had a lovely life though so fair play to him

A good romp. You know what to expect and it delivers. Not enough of the cleavage or tits of Hayley Atwell

Kay Burley "accidentally" confirmed that the teenager was male.
It narrows the field.

The Terrifier films are a nice, tame introduction into the more cerebral side of horror.
The original Exorcist and III are great films as someone pointed out above- the second is one of the worst films ever made. If you want a series, the first few series of American Horror Story are excellent. A couple of the later ones are good too.
American Horror Story 1984 is good fun
