Ibrahimovic is a very good striker and footballer. But he is not better than Eto'o.

 

Now Ibrahimovic is not "fucking crap", and he will get goals for Barca, but, for example, if it was a choice between him and Villa, then Villa wins hands down, as there is at least 3 strikers better than him in world football.

 

Simply, Inter will benefit more from this deal.

They haven't been particularly good but has managed to win the league simply due to Ibrahimovic (it's a kind of shitty league though nowadays)

It is hard to say how Zlatan will fit in at Barca, but I am absolutely sure that Eto'o won't come close to replacing Ibra unless Inter make some major signings. Eto'o is a great goal-scorer as long as someone feeds him the ball. Zlatan creates goals for himself and, even more importantly, sets up his team-mates. He has been the brain behind everything at Inter.

I would have thought that a striker like Eto'o would be a perfect fit for the formation Barcelona plays', but then again if there is something that Barca was missing last season it was probably a bit of strength, size and heading ability, things that Ibrahimovic will definitly add.

And those big games, crucial matches where the biggest players step up and show their balls? You know like Messi in Rome, Torres in the Euro Final, Gerrard in Istanbul and Zidane at Hampden, how many special moments has Zlatan made? How many times has been the difference in a crunch match? He's wank. Just because some of the writers in World Soccer wank off over him doesn't mean he's great. The best I could say of him is that he flatters to deceive.

The thing is that Zlatan has never played for a team good enough to play in these kind of games, but I agree that he has a lot to prove. The last few seasons though he has been immense in most of Inters' games against the other top teams in Serie A, so I can't see why he wouldn't excel in high profile CL games as well for Barca.

The only people who doesn't seem to rate Zlatan are englishmen. And it pretty much all seems to come down to believing that he's lazy and has crap attitude, something that is as wrong as it gets.

Ibrahimovic is a weird one, because a lot of fans on the continent - and managers - seem to legitimately believe he is one of the best players in the world, but, like everyone else in Britain, I've only ever seen him do two good things, and one of them was on youtube. Gives them a bit more height, though, and he holds the ball up quite well, so maybe they want a bit more presence. Gudjohnsen's future looks bleak, doesn't it? He can play upfront and in the Gerrard role, can't he? Hmmm. He'd cost, what, £3m? He was always one of the least objectionable players at Chelsea, Reina incidents aside. That won't be a popular suggestion, but still think he'd be a useful option.

People in Italy, Sweden, Holland etc. who have seen him play week in, week out knows just how good he is. It is just you brits who have only seen him play the odd game for Sweden (shit) and in the CL for Inter (shit).

But I'm sure that you know better than Guardiola, Mourinho, Mancini and Capello.

It is hard to say how he will fit into the current Barca team, but there is no doubt about his ability. I can guarantee you though that Eto'o won't come close to what Zlatan achieved for Inter.

Watched Inter quite a lot last season and I can't say that I was impressed by Grosso at all. Nowhere near his World Cup form.

I haven't been able to follow any other team than Liverpool proberly this season so I really have no idea about how van Persie has been doing. But judging from what I've seen of him in recent years, all he has is a decent technique and a good shot, not much more.
