Ok so here is the answer. We checked into the hotel. 5 star place near dublin. Booked into the suite. Had champagne on ice and strawberries dipped in chocolate waititng for us. Beautiful. Room was class. Then had dinner and more champagne. Into the bar for a skinful of pints and then back to the room. I had a quick shower and back into bed. There she was in her skimpy undies lyingon the bed and the telly was on. 'What you watching' I asked. 'The Bodyguard' she replies. I swooped into bed and moved in for the kill. 'I want to watch the end of this', she says. 'What'! Yeah, there's only about an hour left in it.' she says to me. 'Fuck off' I replied thinking she was taking the piss. She took offence to this and a big row ensued with me fucking off to the sitting room area along with the contents of the mini bar. So, in short, no ride for me on my anniversary.

Rafa isn't perfect, he has been making some mistakes lately most noticeably playing Gerrard on the left and playing Pennant full stop but to suggest he should be sacked this season is utterly ridiculous. He is not being helped by the performances of his senior players at the moment. Carragher hasn't been at his best yet this season, Gerrard has been well below par, Sissoko and Alonso have yet to reproduce the form of last year.I can only name four players who i think have been playing at all well recently, Crouch, Kuyt , Riise and Agger.

 

We're suffering from a long season last year coupled with new signings who aren't Premiership ready. We may have to accept that this isn't to be our year and focus on continuous improvement with a view to a real challenge next year.
