  1. Well first of all this is not about trying to keep Roy as as far as I'm concerned now it's just a matter of time, he won't turn it round and even if he manages to win against Bolton (Coyle will be rubbing his hands at the prospect of this match.) he will be a gonna even if NESV are determined to keep him the man is incapable of consistently winning games at the top level and our fans will rightly accept no less, they turned on him long ago. Now the media has realised it cannot hold back their feelings with their usual manipulative shite and are joining in they have turned on him also. Roy has severely endangered and damaged the 'brand' with his comments about the fans will not have been lost on Fenway.... so it's not a case of trying to either justify or villify him but I'd like to hear what he's done right. I'll give him credit for playing the kids when it's been possible, something that used to fuck me off when Rafa was here and didn't play them enough although many of our prospects then weren't as good as the crop we have now I still credit Roy for it even though he mishandled some of that, it may stand one or two of those in good stead in future. Some might say his criticism didn't help them but in some ways it might make or break players, sooner or later they have to step up to the plate and they needed to play and be given chances. Its surprised me as it's not something we have ever seen in the car crash that is Roy's career so he surprised me a little there by giving them so many chances, even if it is desperation. Sadly it's the rest of the job for me where Roy has come unstuck but is there any redeeming feature of Roy you can credit him with you can find if you think very hard? Here my challenge to try and see what you can come up with, try and keep it lighthearted as you can only laugh at times like this and it feels better knowing he will be gone even if yesterday is not soon enough. Come on guys even maybe something small such as his shades or a spiffing jumper he wore to a press conference once under a blazer, there must be something you credit Roy with?
