Rafa Benitez has been known for his ability to organize his side to shut out the opposition and create the chances in counter-attacking situations. In the CHL and against equal or better opposition this seems to do the trick
But what about the league?
I hate to admit it, but Torres in the only world class attacker that we currently have in our team, nay squad. Some of you blame the manager whilst others blame our scouting department.
In this thread however, I want to take a closer look at Rafas ability to identify an attacking player and aid him into adapting with his style of play. Keane for me is one of the great strikers in the PL but for some reason, Rafa did not bring out the best in him, same with Babel who showed so much promise than Nani, but now seems to lack that bit of magic from last season.
The only player that I can honestly say that has improved attacking wise is Benayoun but thats pushing it a bit.
