The Daily Mail is reporting that Liverpool full back Emiliano Insua is close to sealing a £3.7million move to Italian club Fiorentina. According to the paper, the two clubs were close to a deal last month but the Reds asked Fiorentina to wait until a new manager was in place. After Roy Hodgson was appointed, the transfer was set in motion once again, and it now looks likely that the 21-year-old will be leaving Anfield. With the departures of both Andrea Dossena and Fabio Aurelio, Insua is the only recognised left back at the club, but after not impressing during his first season of first team action, he is set to move on.
