  1. A plea to the Liverpool FC Heirarchy - ACT NOW. I believe as a matter of urgency that Liverpool FC should replace forthwith manager Roy Hodgson and replace him IMMEDIATELY with Kenny Dalglish, I set out my reasons below why. It is not just the abysmal results that have made me form this opinion just 6 weeks into the new season but mainly the performances....... .or non-performances I should really be saying. No cohesion, no pattern, absolutely no creativity, lack of ideas coming from the bench on how to change the game in our favour when we are plainly struggling. Lack of support for the best striker in Europe, playing Skrtel in favour of the footballing defender Daniel Agger, etc, etc. What has compounded the defeats and dire negative performances has been Roy Hodgson's aftermatch comments. Hodgson stated after our home victory versus Steua Bucharest that "we contained them well in the first half". We were the home team and should be taking the game to the opposition and not setting out to contain an average European team. Hodgson when asked by Clive Tyldsley on ITV before the Europa League away match versus Utrecht, whether Torres preferred playing on his own or with a strike partner answered "I honestly don't know". Why after being in charge at the club for 3 months does he not know?? Has he not spoken to Fernando about it?? If not.......why?? Hodgson when interviewed on ITV after the Europa League away match versus Utrecht stated the expectations of this club are NOT realistic. At the beginning of the season he stated that the target was "a top four finish". Has he suddenly reassessed that opinion.......if so ....why? We are Liverpool FC and his comments hardly inspire confidence in the dressing room. After the Utrecht match he stated "we certainly did better that Celtic". Liverpool FC is a giant of European football, only Real Madrid & AC Milan have won the European Cup more times therfore why is he comparing us to a club who are playing in a weak league which is won by one of two teams every year?? He talks as though he is still managing Fulham, again hardly inspiring confidence amongst his players. By replacing hodgson with Dalglish, Ferguson at United would also fear Kenny and would know immediately that Liverpool FC under Dalglish are once again a club to be feared. I also believe Hodgson made a mistake of cataclysmic proportions by revealing to Liverpool supporters his deep rooted friendship with that chief Liverpool FC antagonist Ferguson. He also had the audacity to state he hoped that by becoming the next Liverpool FC manager "Alex would forgive me" and "I hope we can still be good friends". During the recent 2-3 defeat at Old Trafford, Hodgson even refused to defend star striker Torres after Ferguson accused him of "cheating". Do you think Rafa or Kenny would have refused to comment after hearing such outrageous lies. Imagine what Bill Shankly would have said to the obnoxious Ferguson back in his heyday. Hodgson was more concerned with retaining a friendship and not wanting to upset his old friend Ferguson. Every LFC follower knows all about Ferguson's deep rooted hatred to all things Liverpool Football Club and would have admired Hodgson if he had given back just a bit of the venom coming from Ferguson, alas, Hodgson's silence in fact spelt a thousand words. The most damning indictment of Hodgson's reign however has been the dire, sleep inducing negative anti-football which is not what Liverpool worldwide following have been used to watching during the last 40 odd successful years. I believe the Liverpool FC heirarchy should immediately replace Roy Hodgson with ex-Liverpool manager Kenny Dalglish forthwith. Dalglish commands respect, has the aura, charisma, personaliity and above all is a WINNER who knows the club inside out and would stablise the club and rescue the season before it is too late and bring back good attacking football. Leave Roy Hodgson in charge and we will be fighting for at best a mid-table position. Bring in Dalglish now and we could still be fighting for a top 6 finish at the very least. Roy Hodgson, I believe is out of his depth.......granted he did a fantastic job at Fulham, but I believe that is his level and not at a footballing European giant that is Liverpool Football Club. This is a plea to the Liverpool FC Heirarchy - ACT NOW and replace Roy Hodgson with Liverpool FC legend Kenny Dalglish.
