  1. When I was out yesterday watching the play offs and the European Cup final with my mates, the general consensus was that we were all made up for both Ian Holloway and Javier Zanetti, given that they seem to be humble, honest people and just class acts all round. Scouring the forum today, a lot of people appear to feel the same. This got me thinking about those people in football who transcend fan rivalries and very few, if any, people have a bad word to say about them. In a move away from all the petty squabbling about the manager and the despair surrounding the situation at the very top of the club, I thought it might be the nice to spread a little love on the boards and salute these people past and present. I'll kick things off with a pretty obvious one: Bobby Robson. Was an absolute gentleman, a class act and a great manager to boot. Feel free to post your own.
